Hello guys,

I would like to know which one software should be preferred for logo designing? - Photoshop or Illustrator?

FREE after effects templates for videos, animations and media presentations.

Illustrator, because it is used for software, meaning you can resize logo how much you want without losing quality..

Illustrator's more for actually designing shit. Photeshop's really more for editing things. A lot of people may even use both for the same project (create with one, tweak with the other).

Both, create it on Illustrator and finalize the art (effects end stuff like that) in Photoshop, adobe give a lot of support for multi-tool usage.

It depends on the user. The best artist is able to do great stuff in ms paint and no matter how expensive product you use, if you cannot draw sh*t you won't do any good. With that being said, photoshop is used mainly for bitmaps (picture editing, etc), illustrator is for vector graphics.

If you want to save money, I would recommend gimp for bitmaps and inkscape for vectors.

I mean, oh ya. Can't deny that haha.

Gimp is pretty damn good! It's not quite as extensive as Adobe Photoshop, but I've yet to come across a better free photo editing software.
