The best "revenge" is to let them feel what they put you through and help them to learn and progress.

I completely agree.
The best revenge is to make them understand what the results of their actions were/are.

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Talkin' about morals, ethics, etc...

Well...

First of all: there are no "revenge spells".
There are spells.
I can use fire to make my meal or to burn a man.
It's a choice, nothing more.

Do what you want - if you think you can. If you are able to do that.
If your "morals" and "ethics" can handle that.
That's all.

We can label spells, of course.
You're talking about "black" or "red" magic - death and war magic.

The first one is about destroying, killing someone with cold blood. That's black magic.
You know why is this so dangerous? It's not about karma. Nor even conscience.
It's dangerous because you can lost yourself, your ideas, your humanity in the process.
You have a magical sniper rifle and you use it once, twice, three times, four times...
Can you stop?
Now, you see, that's the real danger of black magic.

Red / war magic?
It's the way of the warrior.
You're not cold-blooded like in black magic.
Aggression, fighting, hate, passion - these are the keys for this path.

Do you see: it's all about the attitude. The "how". The preparing and making your magical act.

Morals and ethics are belong to humanity, "being human".
Magic and the way you use magic are belong to "being a mage".

Agreed. I have several rituals that can end the life of a person prematurely.....and it is very tempting.....but I'm afraid once I get going and someone actually dies I will revel in my own god-like power (choosing who lives and dies) that I will not stop. Though on the other hand I have given some of the rituals out to others who proclaimed its.......success.

For the man of religion believes in God, the magician knows God.

There may only be spells but you should also look at the intent behind a spell. The spell is just energy- pure and simple. It is our intent, will and focus that allows that energy to do anything.

Indeed.
Energy and information + intent / will / focus.

Take Revenge in any form you see fit, if it bounces back onto you, atleast you would be satisfied with the knowledge that you have done the deed you seeked, other than that I do not believe I know any Revenge spells.

Now this is something that sounds really, really tempting. There is someone who I would want a premature death to, but I am afraid that if I get reborn, I will have a brilliant life and end up dying way before my time. Sorry folks but I believe in the 3 fold law.

I am agree with Zlogonje .
Revenge is justice in most cases .
And it comes for justice .
When there justice is staying already there it is crime .
