Street E&E: Evading, Escaping and Other Ways to Save Your Ass When Things Get Ugly

This is easily one of my favorite books on survival tactics in an urban enviroment ripe with cheap shots, pack "warriors," ambushes and so called "thugs." Read below for a better understanding of its contents:

Long-term survival isn't a matter of clashing head-on with every problem that comes along. It's knowing when to be hard and when to be soft; when to run with the ferocity of a wolf from overwhelming odds and then turn to strike when you have the upper hand again. A constant willingness to fight isn't the mark of a professional, knowing when to fight, when to watch and when to withdraw is. He's the one who's going to stay alive.

Enjoy!

"You have to understand. Most people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured and so hopelessly dependent on the system that they will fight to protect it."

Thats a great starter book and for some an excellent refresher. Loved the training years ago, another life in this body, before I was run over by a Semi-Truck.

Marc MacYoung is definitely the #1 guy when it comes to self-defense education and training. To those interested, check out his website - 'No Nonsense Self-Defense.' http://www.nononsenseselfdefense.com/

There is a wealth of info on there, and a lot of misconceptions cleared up.

Hello Reizo.

Growing list of students of all things martial. Good. Prosperity could potentially come of this.

Traditionalist welcome too.
