The User-Groups of WF

Here at WizardForums, there are several groups you may choose to join, ranging from works in Graphics, to debating in threads. This thread will outline the various groups of the site, and provide some details, so you may be able to be make a better decision for joining a group.

How do user-groups work?
Well, members can suggest various groups that they think would benefit the site, and Crow goes through the suggestions and if he sees one he likes he will add it. Once Crow has made a group official, he will then appoint a leader for the group. Usually the leader is the one who suggested the group, however this isn't always the case. Once a leader is appointed, he may set some basic rules and requirements for the group. Once the leader figured out his group's rules he may then post a recruitment thread in the Groups section. Members may then read through the recruitment thread and fill out an application to join the group. However, it is very important to read the thread thoroughly especially when it comes to that group's application process. Each groups application process may be different, some may require you to apply through your User CP, while others may require you to simply post and wait. So it is very important that you read their thread well. Once you are accepted, you may then go to your Group Memberships and set your new group as your default group.

OFFICIAL GROUPS

As of 5/3/12 there are nine usergroups you may join.

That's a nice, and useful thread of yours. I really like your dedication towards that. I think it should be stickied for future usage.

Exactly my thoughts. It's the first thread on it so as long as Integrity updates it when new groups get made and Leadership changes then I'm sure it'll get a sticky.

You're kinda right about the LQP part. If it wasn't for yourself and a few other members around, I'd never have learned what LQP-ing was. -Svarog
