Think and you will become!

Is it true that what we think has significant effect on our lives? Can we manifest our thinking as a "thing" in the real world? I have been thinking about this lately that people who have negative attitude towards life tend to face problems and sadness. How far do you agree with this philosophy?

This always leads me to Dr Masaru Emoto and his experiments on water.

Health & Happy

Theres also the forrce and motivational speaking of many to empower yourself, to be positive, to lead, and be a critical proactive thinker and doer in all ways of life.

I sort of read the same in cobs NAP book.

That said, i will state that those who lose their will, have despair, and no longer care about the ways of life fall into either rage and biting like a cornered beat dog or lose all will and give up hoping to die. And some end up with various classified disorders. Hoarding is more common than youd think.

Its odd, but it seems like those that end up the tragic hero in their story are always fighting as opposed to some glorious warrior of good and light who has to just fight one climatic battle and then live happily ever after.

Nothings ever over and the war for some rages on even when they wish itd stop.

I agree with the previous posts, but I would recommend a book as well. While it may not be a magical book, it is effective, and I assume you want effective magic Tounge

Think and Grow Rich By Napolean Hill

This book can help you change your perspective from "Poor me, I'm in the worst situation, I can't get out" that so many people seem to be suffering from these days. It has been very useful in addition to magical readings as far as cultivating the needed mindset for magic.

Personified by the phrase "Believing is Seeing"

^I'd toss out the last chapter about the mind curing all, but then, this was written nearly 100 years ago and we didn't know jack about medicine or genetics then.

Think and Grow Rich is interesting as a historical document, too. It shows the rise of the US as a superpower in a lot of ways, though I doubt they knew it at the time. WWII hadn't happened yet, and we didn't really ascend until that.

Back to the topic: thoughts count for a lot. Attitude counts for a lot. I've had to tell clients that came in for readings that they were NOT cursed, they were being jackasses. All their issues were self-inflicted ones. Most didn't and won't listen. *sigh*

Shit happens. Ask anyone who got hit by a red-light runner. But how someone rises to the occasion--or doesn't--says volumes about their character. We can't always choose what happens to us, but we *can* choose how we react to it.

Come get your Tarot cards read! It's fun for everyone.

We sometimes want to be led by
The hand of a higher creature
So we just have to follow
The direction of the navigator

Theres the paradox for some about being helped is a crutch. From mind altering drugs to spirits to books. They dont want the "crutch" to be relied on. Hell, maybe pride they dont want it at all.

Guess that means a more chaotic route or possible set up to a nearly impossible path.

Personally, i prefer exhaustion via deprivation of sleep and tons of exercise. Its been a long while since ive actually collapsed from exhaustion.... Cant say it does much for magic unless you think you can work it while passed out. Astral maybe? Lucid?

Doesnt get easier the older you get. But generally its will power in what you do. For simple exercise you just have to do it. And do it again and again and again. If you stop and make excuses all the time.... You make a new loop.... The excuse loop.

Dr. Emoto was a fake. His project was not an actual scientific experiment like he would have you think - he refused to use any blinds or controls in his project. He would freeze water and then look for the crystal he wanted to take a picture of to represent what he though it should look like. It is just an art project pretending to be science.

Your thoughts can change how you perceive reality and how you react to reality. They dont change reality on their own though. If you could get whatever you want just by thinking about it, all porn addicts would have porn star girlfriends by now and all armchair magicians would be master magicians without any practice - just thinking.

Think positive and positive things will start happening in your life. The world is as you see. There are many people who tell that this philosophy works if applied with firm belief.

I am one of those people. I make a conscious effort every morning to see the day as full of possibilities for great things, and since I have changed my perspective great things happen. It sounds foolish and childish but some days the only reason I can think of to have a smile on my face is because I'm alive. Luckily, more often than not I have more reasons to smile but those days are hard, and I couldn't imagine what they would feel like if I didn't have the mindset I have adopted.

If anyone can find someone who has written a book or two on why being negative has improved their live, I would love to read that book! I doubt that I would put any credence in it, unless maybe 5 or 6 authors at least came from different approaches and wound up at the same conclusion.

I agree that how you think absolutely affects what you can or, what you don't accomplish.
