(10:00 am) Okay, dear viewers... We're on the 123rd floor of the Zammy Tower in the Wraith city of New Jabouti. I'm as well aware as yourselves that an interview with the famous leader of The Wraith on such short notice is quite a farfetched enterprise. Nevertheless, his secretary (quite a looker, I may add) has given us some dim ray of hope that the leader may be able to squeeze us into his tight schedule. All we can do now is patiently wait for luck to smile upon our mission...

(11:35 am) No luck just yet. Even if I gave you a list of the people who've been pushed in and out of the leader's office, you still wouldn't believe me. Which I won't, in fear that it may be the last thing I've said in this world. The secretary walked toward our crew a few times, thus lifting out hopes a bit, but – alas – to no avail...

(12:49 pm) Finally, we were told that we have fifteen minutes of the leader's time. We were shown into a labyrinth of halls which led to his office. We found the leader reclining in his leather armchair. Desperate to waste as little of the precious time we had, we immediately started the interview.

Svarog: Thank you for having us, Hawkins. Now, how long have you been the leader of The Wraith?

Hawkins: I have been the leader of the Wraith since around November 2009.

Svarog: If I'm not mistaken, The Wraiths recently moved to Wizard Forums from Hack Forums. What was your agenda before you made the transition, and how has it changed after it?

Hawkins: Well, there is no particular agenda that we have and the transition hasn't changed much. The real Wraiths are here and doing the same things they used to do in HF.

Svarog: I see. And will The Wraith be recruiting new members soon?

Hawkins: Well, the recruitment thread is currently open and if WF members are interested in joining us, they are free to apply. We do want to recruit some new, energetic and above all, open-minded members.

Svarog: Do you have any projects you're working on as a group?

Hawkins: No. Currently we are working on starting new projects but this has always been a problem for the Wraith as we have such a diverse membership that we have to make sure no one is offended or disagrees with the projects. As you guys probably know, we are more concentrated in social projects other than coding something or defacing websites so such projects should be started and carried out carefully.

Svarog: Now, if you don't mind telling us, what was the main reason for you to decide to leave HF and settle on WF?

Hawkins: Well, the group principals are the main reason we decided to leave HF. We don't really like the idea of being forced to do anything, and we even found it rather insulting we had to pay to stay knowing everything the Wraith membes have done for HF since its very beginning. Besides, the Wraith was not founded on HF and it sure wasn't going to stay there permamently. And as I have said it before, the Wraith will outlast HF, so there was no point to stay there any longer.

Svarog: What is your general opinion of Wizard Forums?

Hawkins: Wizard Forums is a very great place. I don't know how many of you know this, but Crow was one of the first Wraith members in HF. WF's owner being an ex-Wraith makes this place ever better. Also, WF's members are very mature and there aren't many trolls (Sorry we brought Stoner and Script along Tounge ) which makes it much easier for Wraith members to have real debates and discussions. Something we had a problem doing outside our subforums in HF.

Svarog: Are there any major changes that ought to be made by Crow in order to make it a better and more successful community?

Hawkins: None that I can think of. I have just now started posting outside the Wraith subsection so I don't really know. In the Wraith subsection, everything seems ok.

Svarog: What is your favorite section of WF (other than the Wraith subsection)?

Hawkins: Philosophy and Psychology. Out of the other sections, I am mostly interested in this one. I also like the Meditation section though.

Svarog: How did you come up with your alias - “Hawkins”?

Hawkins: Well, I'm really attached to Hawks, so after a lot of combinations and what-not, I managed to come up with Hawkins. John Hawkins to be more precise. Hawkins is the last name.

Svarog: Ah, I understand. What are your goals in life, and what may be said to be your life philosophy?

Hawkins: Well, to answer this simply, my goal in life is to live a happy life. I guess that answers the life philosophy too, but here I would also like to add questioning everything.

Svarog: Words of wisdom, indeed. And what kind of music are you into?

Hawkins: Rock, classical...let's just say that I am into real music. I don't consider sounds not made by musical instruments as music.

Svarog: I heartily agree with you on that matter Smiling. Where do you see yourself in, let's say, ten years?

Hawkins: I honestly don't have an answer to that. The only thing I am sure on this matter is that in 10, or to be more precise, 11 years (Wraiths understand this) I will still be in the Wraith.

Svarog: I'm glad to hear that. Actually, that was going to be my next question - "Is the Wraith part of the picture?" I'm glad the anwer is yes. Anything that you'd want to say to the members of Wizard Forums before we wrap this up?

Hawkins: Just accept differences as they make life more interesting, and question everything.

Svarog: Well, Hawkins, thanks for letting this happen. And, finally, who would you suggest for next week's interview?

Hawkins: Stoner.

And, just like that, we were shown out of the Zammy Tower, and left to find our way through the streets of New Jabouti. We were all just hoping to make it back to Wizard Forums in time for this week's edition of the WF News. And – if you're reading this now – we managed to pull it off.

What do you think should be changed on the forum?

To be honest, at least concerning contents and members, I'm perfectly happy as to the way all is developing.
The only problem, in my opinion, are the sudden break-downs in activity we're facing. The only solution - more members and more topics for discussion. It's not something I can change, but rather that can and ought to happen. With time; and with persistence, I guess.

-Svarog

I would like to see some more awards. Also more members of course. Other than that I really like WF.
-Top

I would like to see an increase in activity. Perhaps a high-calibur referral contest? I would recommend a cash prize, high-price for the member with the most referrals in a month.
