I was listening to one of those audios to induce a LD and I decided to see if I could focus on the beats to induce a WILD.
Eventually I saw a 3D face smiling but it was almost the color of the darkness behind my eyelids. I saw it and then nothing else happened. It smiled and then it disappeared and no lucid dream. How close was I? |

Yeah, it causes hypnagogia commonly. Try the CAN-WILD method posted here in Meditation. I think I moved to much last time. But other than that, I'm sticking to DILDs for now.

Basically you make habits in real life to ensure you're awake, for example everyday you write 'A' for awake on your palm and you check your palm every hour to make sure the A is still there. Eventually it'll be a habit that you take to your dreams. When you look for the A in your dream, you won't see it, and you'll know your dreaming so you'll turn lucid. Some people claim that they turn lucid in every dream they get from so much practice, I've never bothered with DILDs so I have no experience with it. Another way to get a lucid dream is the back to sleep method. Set your alarm for 2, 3, 5 or 6 hours after you sleep, and then when you're awake try the WILD technique. Your REM is high at this point, so your chances to succeed is drastically increased. |

DILDs are the best way to do it, I always thought to fuck WILDs. Over the years I've found a lot of different triggers, whenever I dream I usually don't actually hear people talking to me I just understand it, if that makes sense but if I'm in a dream and my dad talks to another person (ex - one time I dreamed about us getting pulled over and he was talking to the officer), or I just hear his voice for some reason, it always triggers lucidity, almost every single time. Over the years I've found lots of different triggers that work for me and I LD very frequently.

Also - start recording every dream you remember RIGHT after you wake up, literally, fuck brushing your teeth. And remember when you do reality checks you need to ACTUALLY consciously think, "Am I dreaming?". LD's are very easy, everybody acts like an expert, I looked into it for like a month and have been LDing for years now, it gets easier and easier.(07-17-2012 09:01 AM)Sin Wrote: DILDs are the best way to do it, I always thought to fuck WILDs. Reality Checks Dream Journal Remembering Dreams I think I did the quickfire journal method at one point, I can't remember, but I do know I did something to strengthen my ability to LD. I've been very sleep deprived for the last month so I really haven't had one in a minute . Good luck on achieving one.
