It's strange that his grades have dropped. I passed my final Maths and English exam's after smoking hash, which is my preferred preparation.
I've also never been arrested or got any trouble relating to Cannabis. In all honesty, why do people even leave their house with narcotics? I know when I'm smoking Hash the last thing I want to do is move. let alone leave the house.

Anyway, my point is that your friends do not represent Cannabis smokers, nor does their experience of the drug define it.
Lastly, I think your friend (with the slurred speech) may be taking Heroin.
