So let's say there is a person, a guy, who rates 3 on a scale of 1 to 10; in other words he is not physically desirable. However hard he tries the most he can elevate is a half point. Now can this guy avail of beauty or glamour magick to appear less unattractive and desirable for some temporary time period by brainwashing/hypnotizin himself to believe that he is not ugly? I am asking this because I read somewhere that glamours do work on average or good looking people but not on those with unfortunate aesthetics who are a real sore to eyes ( mathematically speaking less than 3/10 in terms of looks)
The actor playing him, and the character, suffer from an acute case of dwarfism. And his initial introduction in game of thrones is decidedly negative as a whoring drunk.
And yet, he brandishes charisma like a flaming lion, and you very quickly forget just how tall he is as he casts such a regal shadow.
Another example. Angelina Jolie. take a look at her without makeup, and just look at her as a human face. She's actually quite plain or average, arguably below average. Yet with a bit of makeup and a thunderous stage presence, she commands a mystique and alluring poise.
Attractiveness is personal and subjective. But more importantly, it's malleable. I don't mean through plastic surgery. I mean that whether a person is perceived as attractive or not, is subject to a very severe bias via subtle cues you perceive about that person which are not physical.
You could look like a potato, but an especially charming potato will definitely have groupies.
It's not something you can do with a "spell" per se though. No saying 5 hail mary's waving some burning sage around and calling on belial at midnight. Instead the magic is worked while you are interacting with others. And there's a variety of forms it can take.
Personally, I find invisibility way more useful than glamors that just make you attractive. My childhood was basically spent sneaking in and out of buildings for fun, and by the time I was in middle school that’s how I practiced. Nowadays I do so by taking my dog to a field, doing a quick invisibility spell and walking away from her. I know it’s stopped working when she eventually realizes where I am and catches up to me in a panic. If you can fool an animal with keen senses like that, you can fool a human.
Glamourys work on anyone, but the amout of effect depends on how much the person believes it's going to work and the vibration of ones carnal energys. If his vibrations aren't alined, The glamoury may not work or have little effect.
Seek LOVE, not glamours. Could you put yourself in their shoes? Are you telling me you would snub an ugly girl who happens to be the woman of your dreams otherwise? It would be foolish. Be willing and ready to do your part, to be the person who is, for her, a hero and a champion. If you would use spells and magic, attract one worthy of your devotion and eager to embrace you, happy to plant kisses on your face, rather than someone fooled by a flimsy mask.
