I don't believe in any sort of universal ideas regarding good or evil, I think morality is a social method our species (Being a species that exists as a pack or herd animal in groups based on cooroperation) does to keep bad behaviors out, and benifitial ones to the group in.
In the wider scope of the powers and fates that be, they are alien to the idea of "good" and "evil" as a bear or corycepts fungus may. Some of them are benificual, some predatory, but there is a curious lack of the ideas of some eternal "good vs evil" narrative in my interactions with them.
Moving beyond mainstream morality is great, but we still live in a society, and have to get along with other people, and practical wisdom to do so is frankly, the only real morality I deal with. The language of good and evil is useful, as long as you know it's a purely human narrative, and it's mainstream and orthodox ideas bunk, but we can often agree to some pretty easy and basic ideas regardless.
I'm whole-heartedly an animist; seeing that their is a great interior (or interior as we perceiving in our breathing and rational minds) to reality that has all sorts of awarenesses. All of reality stems from this sort of place, although I don't think that makes this place we find ourselves in less real, only an island in a great ocean of countless realities and expirences, more dense and easier perceived by us, which we call waking reality.
There are countless forces coming together and falling apart, givning and taking. Magic and sorcery (I consider the two distinct) are methods of tapping into connections between places and things to manipulate reality in needful ways, either through the alignment of the self, or the aid of powerful spirit-persons. Naturally, the alignment of the self often includes one or more powers, given no one is on their own ever.
I primarily do sorcery, working with spirit persons and my relation to them, and they give me insights or aid me in creating change, should our goals align or our connection intimate enough that that is natural.
If everything was perpetually good in the world that would be the norm and then noone would notice how good it was because there would be no downside to compare it to.
As for magic then most working magic needs a earthen, a spiritual and a divine aspect to it, the magician enters the divine state through various methods so that he/she is able to command angels or what not in the place of the gods.
