April eclipse

So I'm assuming there may be a number of us in the shadow of the Great American Eclipse this April. No one is speaking of it. I see there is a split on opinion in other forums/ internet sources on whether to do magic during an eclipse. I just thought I'd open this up for discussion to see what everyone's thoughts are in general and see where it goes.

pheh. the great american eclipse.
they privatized christmass now they comin' for the moon
it sounds like straight out of avatar the last airbender

i guess it can be celebrated this way or that
but it's not exactly like other date-event things that do see a lot of magic work
come to think of it as dope as it sounds building up a practice based on something as irregular as an eclipse
would be unsustainable?

but i never believed the placement of rocks in space impacts my life
so i should let the professionals take it from there.

My area won't see the eclipse, but I'm planning to do something anyway. Same for the nearest lunar eclipse.
