The Thing - the Great Seal - A predecessor of radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology Radio-frequency identification (RFID) uses electromagnetic 3
fields to automatically identify and track tags attached to objects.. The tag transmits
digital data. Passive tags are powered by energy from the RFID reader's interrogat- ing radio waves. RFID is one method of automatic identification and data capture
(AIDC) The possibility of reading personally-linked information without consent has
raised serious privacy concerns RFID Tags - A technology whereby digital data en- coded in RFID tags or smart labels are captured by a reader via radio waves and
stored in a database. RFID systems make use of the electromagnetic spectrum (like WiFi networks or cellphones), EM card was offered by EM company , which its working frequency is 100 kHz ~ 150 kHz,and has read/write function of contactless RFID chip. It’s low consumption and can provide various data transmission rate and
data encoding. Since EM chip is not only compatible with ISO 11784/11785 stan- dard chip, also in line with ISO FDX / B animal identification standards, therefore,
the chip can be widely use in various application management system, in particular, animal identification and tracking management.
