easy is one thing but confusing is another

One of the "FIRE" spells in the reversal spells from this book is not very clear, is consists of using a small candle and a cup of dirt, that you stick the candle in the dirt (in the cup) then light it., once the candle's flame is stable you suddenly reverse it sticking it in the dirt, then take it out, byte the burned part of the candle and light it again (put it in dirt) then say the ritual.

How ever, whats confusing is that it states to byte it off and light it again, assuming it means light the candle (not the burned tip) someone around me confused us by stating its the burned tip you light again...

ohhh boy! (this is to be performed during full moon period bwt )

if anyone is familiar with this please share, im about to give this friend a piece of my mind....lol ps
Hi, now upon your comment I see it like this: you extinguish candle into the ground, then you cut off that part (which is now in the ground) from the rest of the candle (which is now "new" candle") and you light that candle with new wick on it, you can have another bowl with new ground for that (suggestion).
says that after you extinguish the candle in the first you then bite (not cut) the burned end of it(assuming its the end extinguished) and light it again as before (this tie letting it burn out), no mention of a new bowl, you have to admit its not clear (if you where to bite the candle while its in the ground still wont it say this?)? lol and i say it again that whats ore confusing is how the ritual includes passages mentioning a burning reversal, you would assume it meant to light the un burned end of the candle until it went ut reversed into the ground.
