Some time ago, an interesting and mysterious book (or rather, it’s more of a publication in the form of a PDF e-book) appeared online. It has a strange title: 'P0rt4l of the S4nctu4ry of M34nings' and consists of just a few pages. Essentially, only two — one features a very strange artwork that covers the entire page, and the other contains a poem. Everything is in the style of cryptographic puzzles (like Cicada 3301 and similar). It's easier to see for yourself: you can find

I’m definitely not a fan of this kind of literature or puzzles, but the artwork caught my attention! The thing is, there is clearly something magical and alchemical in it. Not just the atmosphere or appearance, but something deep, hidden. Symbolism. It’s some kind of ritual, an ancient ritual, and some ancient knowledge.

It feels like something similar I’ve seen in a dream, and not just once! It’s a very strange feeling when I look at this image.

I can't find the thread at the moment but as far as I remember, it's been posted before. By chance I came across the full version of it one day and it turned out to be a sham or a joke, I don't remember which, only that the previous poster was really obnoxious and hysterical about it and wanted us all to go on a treasure hunt for that ultra-secret wisdom mysteriously revealed to the elect few by the gods of cyberspace or something. A hyped-up grimoire version of a forced meme, if you ask me.

I took a look at it and I gotta say, nice priestesses, and cool monolith.
Nothing strikes me as worthy of more than a passing glance though!
The fact that AI was involved in the art and the text kinda sours it for me!
An attempt to create something (pseudo) mysterious, IMHO! ;)

Alas, AI technologies are everywhere. I was on a writers' forum, and many people there use AI to write but don’t admit it. At least here, the author (or authors) honestly acknowledged it. As a tool, it’s probably convenient, but it scares me that creativity might soon boil down to just pressing a couple of buttons. Though, I suppose the idea matters more than the method of execution. But I digress.))

On the topic – it seems more like there’s a puzzle hidden in the image. What exactly it is, I don’t know. I was solely drawn to the picture, and that’s it.

I wanted to add that often certain layers of information are revealed through non-obvious things. Even an author might embed something in their work that they couldn’t have consciously thought of. Ultimately, it all depends on personal perception, especially in art as such. That’s why I believe that this kind of creativity also has the right to exist.

I was going through various mega or googledrive collections (I found the addresses on Reddit, I think) and there it was, several pages of pseudo-mystic tripe among assorted conspiracy, neonazi and anti-vacc pamphlets; I don't remember any artwork though.

It's typical human behaviour to give instinctive chase to anything apparently elusive regardless of its worth. We just can't leave riddles and mysteries alone, viz books with "The Secret...", "The Hidden", often followed by "Power" (looking at you, Damon Brand) in the title; "The Key to..." is another favourite, so is "Unleash...", "Unlock" or "Tap into...".

I seem to remember that file was crossposted to several occult forums as well as Reddit, got quite a few people in a tizzy but miserably failed to go viral.

Mysteries are always intriguing. I didn’t know about this particular publication and couldn’t find the full version, but that doesn’t matter. For me, the image represents a kind of symbolism; I don’t intend to decipher the deliberately hidden puzzles placed there by the author.

I was programmer (among other things) for some years, we put "easter eggs" in the code everywhere we could get away with!
We thought we were really cool, it Was Fun too.

This is sometimes interesting. It seems like the same thing here, only with a reference to esotericism (as it seems to me).

Just noticed the following on the topic: Actually, it should be credited to the author – the image is not just random art, it's clearly tied to the numbers 3 and 4, which the text clearly hints at. I just noticed this now: three women (priestesses), three steps, three small figures; four small eyes, four columns, four steps leading to the obelisk from the other side... it's amusing.

In esotericism, the numbers 3 and 4 are quite interesting. Three represents trinity, perfection, and wholeness. It appears in many cultures and religions, such as in Kabbalah. Four represents stability, the four elements (fire, water, air, earth), and the four cardinal directions.

Together, these numbers form the number 34, which in esotericism can be associated with wisdom, maturity, successful development, creativity, and the synthesis of creativity and science. This aligns perfectly with the spirit of the painting and the entire publication. But these are just thoughts out loud))

34 And, by qabalistic reduction 3 + 4 = 7, a "magical" number if there ever was one!
I haven't analyzed the numerologist implications though, I've been "meditating" on the overall Image, and since I don't suffer from "aphantasia",
I've uncovered an interesting concept! Later I'll "attempt to verbalize it", so that it will be "ON TOPIC!" ;)

Looks like some kind of ARG to me. What's the substance here?

I have some ideas on the image itself, but don't see where it would be productive to pursue it further. Might look in on it later and see what others finally arrive at?

No ARG. It appeared someone took an attempt at humor "by me"" as being Off Topic, I don't think it was though, that's all it was.

Anyone know where I can get a copy? Thanks
Hi! In the first post of this thread, I shared a link. You can watch it online or download it (there's a button at the top). If you were asking about the "book" itself.

I’m not actually an expert on ARGs and don’t follow them, so I only know about them secondhand, but I think it was originally intended that way. However, this is something different—it reminds me more of a modern version of a manuscript on spiritual alchemy, meaning it contains some encrypted esoteric knowledge. But that’s just my personal opinion about this publication.

That would actually be an interesting experience.

Yesterday, when I was sleeping, I dreamt of this picture (the one from the post, not that I was actually in the place shown in it), and an interesting thought came to me. But, as it often happens, when I woke up, I forgot it... such a shame!

In general, the composition of the picture can be analyzed. There's a lot of interesting detail here, and it is very well designed in terms of the interplay between the elements. For example, the priestesses—what can be said about them? They are classic figures, dressed in strict and simple garments. (By the way, they all look alike, so it’s possible this is the same woman represented in three different aspects.)

Two of them hold chalices—a symbol of sacrifice (in esoteric terms). The first woman is seated on something and is closest to the stele with symbols. A seated position is more stable and can symbolize wholeness, wisdom, and maturity. In the context of a ritual, this is usually the position of the high priestess. Notice that she is on a pedestal, while the others are actually outside of it.

The second woman, the one closest to the viewer, is standing. She is simply a priestess, making offerings. Both of them are looking at the symbols glowing on the stele.

The third woman is in the distance, holding something in her hands, but it’s not a chalice. Her gaze is directed at the column (its upper part) above the second woman with the chalice—or at least that’s how it seems to me. The third woman is an observer or a guardian (in the sense of embodying the archetype of such a role).

It’s worth paying attention to the strange little figures on the first step in front of the stele. They’re actually arranged in a way that mirrors the positioning of the women in the space. Considering the limited area of the step, it also forms a triangle. However, the meaning behind them is unclear to me.

The symbol on the front of the stele’s pedestal is a triangle with an "inverted droplet" or a stylized scoop — this represents something higher (a source or knowledge) pouring down into our world. In esoteric terms, it’s a symbol of a conceptual portal.

As for the bowl with fire, I’m not sure what it signifies — it could have many meanings in this context.

For now, these are the only thoughts I have...

please forgive my English))

I am a rare guest on this forum (was not registered), but this topic interested me. I like such riddles, because I like to analyze information and look for hidden meanings. But I also like such riddles that are connected with esotericism.

This is an interesting topic. This type of game (somewhat similar to ARG), which is a unique presentation of esoteric information. Who and why does it is a separate topic, but in essence, some information is given that will be available only to a certain number of readers (those who want to delve into it). This is a kind of transmission of information and selection of the "chosen ones" (according to certain criteria) in one step. I have already encountered something similar several years ago. There was an encrypted book, as a result, a whole treatise was encrypted in Latin. Alas, it was a long time ago and I can hardly restore the information now. Of course, such games are not suitable for everyone, it is an amateur, especially since the solution may contain something you do not expect. But for me, the process itself is also important.

There is something else in this case: I saw this scene as real, as something that once took place. Not as it is depicted in this document, differently, but essentially the same. Everything is simply arranged symbolically. Yes, I understand that this may seem strange, but sometimes I see the history and origins of some things that I come into contact with, read or see. This is part of my practice. I do not claim this, but for me there is a certain realism of events here, distorted by the author's style - or an attempt to create a rebus.

But for many, of course, this is just fantasy and a game. It's all about personal perception. And any version of such perception is correct. There are many truths))

I analyzed the picture not only with the help of "vision", but also geometric analysis. Then I made some comments:

If you number the girls like this - First - the one who sits with a bowl, Second - the one who stands with a bowl, Third - in the distance with an incomprehensible object.

The First and the Second - Both are looking at the symbols on the stele. To be precise, their gazes are directed at the top of the lower "pyramid", where the top intersects with the strip (steps?) of the upper one. This is easy to calculate if you draw lines from their eyes taking into account the central axis of symmetry of the head. The Third girl stands to the side as if behind the stele (relative to the viewer) and seems to be looking either at its back, or somewhere else. But this is not quite so - the gaze of the Second (the girl closest to the viewer) and the Third - coincide along the axis! And the Third girl is also looking at the top of the lower "pyramid" on the stele. In fact, both the First and Third girls intersect with the Second with their gaze. Together, their gazes in different planes of space form a triangle without one side (there is no gaze between the First and the Third - otherwise there would be a triangle).

If you look at the picture further, you can see three figures on the top step of the pedestal. Their vertices form a triangle in space, similar to the position of the girls (it is important to remember that we are looking at the scene from the point of view of an axonometric view). If you unfold the triangle in space, it will lie as a coordinate projection on the position of the girls in space. In general, this is just an example of analyzing the image. This riddle is actually built on planimetry in 3D space. This is, of course, my personal opinion. It is important here not only to unravel the symbols in the image, but also to imagine a full-planimetric scheme of the composition.

The image is very complex in composition, but semantically verified. Most likely, it was drawn in parts, which were then "glued" into a certain composition. And here it is important - this is, as I think, a rebus associated with the representation of three-dimensional space. In fact, such a technique exists and was previously often used in painting. That is, this riddle is solved not just by determining the meaning of the symbols - but also by taking into account their distribution in space.
