Thanks for these interesting discussions.

Over the past few months I've used the Arbatel on a couple of occasions - once for working with Hagith and once for Phul. I can't say that I discerned anything happening during either ritual. There have been things have been happening in my life since then relating to my petitions, but I'm unsure whether they could be attributed to the workings specifically.

Mine were one-off workings for these Olympic Spirits, but it sounds like some of you are working with them on an ongoing basis? Would this be something to do until the petition has been successful or do people work with them long-term for other reasons?

I'm doing a number of rituals per olympic spirit depending on their planetary number. It was just my design for a career path working (each olympic spirit I've asked to work on a specific aspect). I'm taking a break this week though since I got sick

Where about does it say this? I have read the Arbatel a couple times and the Sworn & Secret Grimoire and I have not come across this information... It does say that each of the Olympic Spirits PRESIDES for 490 years, the first being Prince Bethor starting 60 years before the birth of Christ. Thats the only part I can think of that talks about the Spirits "changing". I may have missed/forgotten stuff though

My astrological knowledge is somewhat limited, it would be interesting to know if there’s any kind of correspondence between the 490 years and the planets moving through the zodiac or something?

I haven't really looked into the astronomical side of it. Though I suspect the 490-year cycle is most likely biblical rather than astronomical, 70×7 (=490) being a number of profound theological significance in the prophetic tradition, rather than any measured planetary transit. Though the two could exist simultaneously. Definitely an area for future study.
