[Help] Questions about Evocation

Someone's asking for help!

Hello there everyone !

I have 2 questions concerning the art of Evocation.

1) As I understand, the evocation of any spirit is done through a ritual (Ceremonial magic), and ceremonial magic requires specific tools and furniture. My question: Can I evoke a spirit without using any tools (wand/sword/etc..) or altars or furniture or magic circle or etc.. ?
Just me and a sigil and my voice and mind ?

2) Can a spirit give me or guide me to a way through which I can acquire magical powers ? Or more generally, is there any way to acquire real magical powers ? Like moving objects without touching them, flying in the air, walking on water, transforming myself or an object ?

I live in Egypt, an islamic and arabic country. Nobody knows anything about Occult and Magick and there is NOWAY to get the tools necessary for summoning a spirit. Also, if anyone found out that I am even interested in such stuff, I may be murdered ! (As an answer for anyone asking why I have no access for the weapons and furniture of art).

I would also be jubilant if someone knows anyonone living in Egypt who is interested in this stuff or knows an order or a group of people in Egypt who are into this.

Thanks in advance.

1:

Solomonic Magic is not the only valid tradition of Spirit Work, but most systems require some tools to work, just in different configurations and sometimes for different purposes.

What you’re asking is akin to the question, “can I cook without a kitchen or any cooking tools? I dont have and can’t get a stove, knife, spatula, bowls, a whisk, or even oven mitts…can I still make cookies?”

….the technical answer is “yes,” with some creativity, you can still produce edible food without using a kitchen. But you are going to make it a LOT more difficult on yourself.

The technology at play is extremely useful and important for many reasons.

2:

Yes, kind of.

Many spirits can teach you a lot of incredible...

hi there :)

lots of people in the west also have problems when they want to come out as someone interested in the occult. no deathpenalty however (thankfully), but exclusion by family and society or ridicule is still very common here as well.

there are certain spirits that better can be evoked, but there are also ones that can be INvoked. i have no experience in evocation, due to similar fears as yours. but perhaps someone else can share more on that subject.

i dont know how much online searches are blocked in egypt ( i have been there once and i know some searches cant be done, so better use a safe line ;). if you need that ask the site owner, he might be able to help out with learning about setting up of a secure vpn as he is an IT-guy, but beware of egyptian law), but you could research the berhatiah and use that. here in the west we use it very often without the islamic prayers, but use christian one's. i know nineveh shadrach uses self created prayers to a goddess., but since shadrachs ways are on debate, although his ways work, id advise you to not use those prayers. or the picatrix (i forgot the arabian name) where you could easily filter out the prayers and use meditation instead.

also the islamic sciences are here in the west called magick, just like healing with herbs. i know working with jinn is in islamic countries way more common then here in the west. they can move objects and stuff you are asking for, but these things are dangerous in the sense that it affects ones surroundings in a very bad way. it creates sickness, mental health problems, financial loss, death, etc. so i wouldnt even advice and experienced practitioner to start such an endeavor, let alone a beginner.

and to be honest, you guys have way more options to get magickal tools, herbs, spices, etc. then we are here in the west. you just need to look in the old city and find the old ways. show the herb lady who heals the sick some interest, they have a lot to tell and speak for certain to spirits and have powers you mention. or have a talk with the guy who sell all these herbs to burn as insence. very often the one who is guiding the hammam (the woman or man you pay and sits at the entrance) knows about witchcraft as well. 😉

hope that helps you out a bit.

Yes, but it may be less effective and less safe.

Like moving objects without touching them, flying in the air, walking on water, transforming myself or an object ?
No, not possible.

I really doubt anyone here in this country knows anything about magick ! But I'll search.

So, what do you suggest may be safe and effective for summoning ? Especially for a beginner that didn't contact a spirit before ? Angels/Demons/ or what type of spirits ?

As for Invocation, I think it's more dangerous that evocation. As I understand, invocation is synonymous with possession, right !?

Thank you for helping

The energies that flow through and manifest as your human system are shared with a wide variety of other entities - just as is the air you breathe.

Therefore that sharing of energy flows can be the basis for relationship.

Relationship can take many forms. If you offer yourself as food, many entities will happily feast upon you.

If you offer heart-light then a quite different grade of entities will find you interesting/beneficial.

Some entities may offer a familiar spirit to augment your natural powers. The entities will have their own agendas that may not be compatible with your spiritual identity. Still, many humans are happy to trade their spiritual progress for spectacular/party skills.

It is better that you know who and what you are before you venture into unequal partnerships with entities of unknown heritage.

Problem is, how can I contact them without magical tools ? Should I offer myself as food as a substitute for evoking them properly with tools !? Aren't there any other way ?

I know of at least 2 members of this forum at this point in time who are (or were) from Egypt, at least one of which is an active occult practitioner. And many more from the old WF.

P.S. Thank you for marking a solution.

Yes, kind of.

Many spirits can teach you a lot of incredible things and sometimes do some incredible things on your behalf if you have sufficient Spiritual Authority. They can lead you to treasure, teach you spells and techniques to do certain things, help you acquire books and meet new people that open up entire new worlds to you, and all kinds of other things that you probably haven’t even dared to imagine.

However.

None of that will be free. Doesn’t matter if it’s from so-called “angels,” or so-called “demons,” or gods, or anyone or anything else.

Everybody has a price. And the more work you want them to do for you, the higher the price.

So as soon as someone starts promising you you wildest dreams…..

…you need to take a step back and take a good hard look at whatever con they’re trying to sell you.

Even the most typically benevolent beings sometimes have an agenda that isn’t in your best interest.

3:

You don’t have to jump right into Solomonic Magic, or any other magic that requires a lot of tools. You can start with more easily accessible work and use that to raise yourself up to a situation where Evocation is more accessible to you.

You can begin with systems of meditation and energy work, character development and initiation, and a lot of other internal and more discretely external things. You can learn divination arts like Geomancy, which you can practice with regular dice or just a stick and some sand. You can do a lot of spellcraft with very basic seasoning herbs in your kitchen, including regular salt and pepper.

Yesterday I heard someone joke about how tacos are magic, and then I watched an old Mexican Bruja giggle and explain how if you make it as such a taco is literally a sachet that can work magic on you or the person you’re feeding it to as it’s eaten and digested.

Magic can be very discreet.

Ritual Evocation is just one system of technology that belongs to a much larger world of other systems and technologies.

The standard Earth human is equipped with an energy structure that is trans-galactic in its functioning. Perhaps you should learn to use what you have rather than submitting to usually inferior entities - with all the attendant problems/karma.

Learn to see the light of Spirit that is anchored in your heart. Practice using that light to love yourself and nearby intelligences. Eventually you will be admitted into functional relationships with entities suitable for your nature and purpose.

You need to prepare yourself for natural role within Existence.

I've been to a resort in hurghada and it was totally protected by witchcraft. I also was aware that when i was there a saudi warlock was there as well as well as an other one that i had to fight in the astral.

Ive been to other Islamic countries as well and they are riddled with magick. From rich to poor is using it, or has become under the influence of it. Even the holy men use it for protection and help.( more in the mystical and, or healing sense) It is just done in secret, hence you hardly believing it.

For a beginner i wouldnt advise summoning anything. I would rather advise to start the inner jihad (working on self) and things that help with that and will be beneficial along the way like proper grounding, working/meditating with collors or sounds. Or having the guts to do something in the antinomian way. It is a Christian term, but can be used for anything really.

I think candle work, divination, seeing aura's, things like that, are a safe way in combination with inner work. Summoning, invocation, evocation, etc. Are not.

I got your point. But I have a comment

I tried before to do all this "easy" or "relatively simpler" magick. But I got nothing ! And sometimes, I can't understand the benefit of some practices.

I see that things like candle magic, meditation, visualisation, doing some simple rituals like LRP and kabbalistic cross, making a talisman/amulet without evocation has no effect nor benefit at all !

I read books about the tree of life for example, which I admire, and many said that one should "rise up the tree" and that rising there will increase my spirituality, happiness, and get me some magical powers. But how to ascend the tree ? No one give practical instructions. It's all about mediating and visualising that I am ascending which I see that it has no effect.

Maybe I am doing them wrong, as I have never met someone that can teach me or show me, and sometimes I feel that I am very low in spirituality that I can't feel their effect 😥.

I also tried divination but it seems just too hard and every interpretation can fit in with no specific and practical interpretation !

That's why I turned to the topic of evocation

Well. Maybe there are people in Egypt who are into magick but they are extremely rare and secretive. If you know someone in Egypt who is into magick or someone Egyptian on this forum please tell me about him.

i dont think i am going to do that. i gave you enough to get started with yourself in a safe manner. there is already a big library here on wf you can delve into if you want more info first. and if none of these work for you, then find yourself a sufi group in egypt and learn, their spiritual guides will send you then were you need be.

Yeah, most of the things you listed are worthless for practical magic unless you have other skills and use them in very specific ways. Amulets can be made without evocation, but they still need consecration rituals or some other manner Charging that takes a bit of effort. I use candle magic all the time, but the same thing applies. They’re ritually prepared and consecrated.

I usually recommend two books to help get started on minimalist magic:

1: Initiation Into Hermetics, by Franz Bardon. I have a lot of criticisms for Bardon, but it is an overall decent beginner system that can help you learn the basics of mental discipline, plastic imagination, energy manipulation, and even some more exotic skills like automatic writing. You should study a lot of other things to get the most out of the IIH, but it’s a good place to start practical training.

2: The Sorcerer’s Secrets, by Jason Miller. Jason is someone who also worked through the IIH, and his Sorcery training is very useful for learning how to apply the skills Bardon teaches to practical, real world spell craft.

I think both of these books are available as PDF’s in the WF Library thread.

As for divination, it’s not my experience that it’s that hard, or that difficult to interpret. Especially a system like Geomancy. There are only 16 symbols to memorize, and the standard Shield Chart method of reading is quite concrete. Geomancy is the only system of divination I have practiced that gives solid yes/no answers, while also providing other patterns of information in the Shield to show why the answer is yes or no.

Being bad at anything and not understanding it very well is normal in the beginning, but if you practice and study regularly you’ll grow past that fairly quickly. Then it’s just a matter of exploring the depths and growing past proficiency into mastery as you continue to practice.
