Everyone's got one.

I have heard many things about how absorbing energy has a specific feeling and or feelings. However, I have also heard many different variations of said feeling. The way I typically feel the absorption of energy depends on the type of energy. Neutral energy usually feels like a tingling sensation from the entrance in which it is absorbed into and all the way into your chakra core. However, negative energies put out by fear, anger, sadness, etc feel more like an ecstatic or overwhelmingly focused wave of a sort of indescribable stream of tingles and a feeling of satisfaction. Afterwards it makes me want to jump around and also has me feeling sort of hyped up, happy, and even ambitious/motivated. Sort of like being high on weed and then mixing it with loads of caffeine without greening out. (yes it's possible) It's a great feeling considering the energy being absorbed. However, positive energies that are put out by other's happiness, excitedness, etc are more of a feeling of, not sexual pleasure but a sort of pleasure that can't be described. Think of the feeling of an orgasm and the joy of eating a vanilla sundae with caramel drizzle with a side of salty french fries put together. THAT feeling. I know, sounds ridiculous but that's the best I can describe how it feels to me. I'd like others experiences on this matter since obviously it isn't the same for everyone.

I believe when we intent to absorb energy, we are like a radio that channel a particular style of energy.

I highly doubt we can actually absorb "neutral" energy. We absorb energy that comes a source and we flavor it with our intent.

My experience is.

Air elemental power makes me feel like i'm Peter Pan. I'm floating in my room and some for object around it. Laughing noise are around. Smell of daisies/lavender. Feeling of spring wind.

Water elemental power is like being underwater (lol) to me. It smells like rose/jasmin. It feels like letting go. My room is like drowned, bubbles comes on the surface.

Fire elemental power in my experience feels like become a giant/a dragon/a dragon slayer (yeah both sides, depends on the intent) it exploded my room. I'm powerful. I hold a sword. Smell and taste of pepper.

Earth is like being in mine. With crystals/gold all around. Roots all over my body, dirt and diamonds mix together. My room is heavy. I have the taste of dirt in my mouth.

Akasha is like being in a church with grass all around. The roof explods and a shinning light comes from above. Smells of frankincense.

When it comes to a feeling, i base on which element makes me think of the intent (not necessary through correspondances) but common sense.

If i want to refresh my mind/spirit, i will think of "being fresh". I will focus on a meadow, clean drying clothes, smell of soap.... And i will see the energy swirling around me as huge bubbles. It's clearly a mix of water and air elemental power 🥰

From my experience energy doesn't have any baggage, maybe it's just filtered through for me automatically, or because I only dare to take energy from mother earth & the divine infinite rather than from cigarette smoking humans.

Energy comes either straight down through the center of my head into my heart with a kind of vacuum-suction kind of sensation, or from below me up my spine into my heart with a river-rush sensation. Once it reaches the heart chakra I feel it move through my body like blood in my veins, bit it's that pressure-energy feeling that isnt in any way physical, energizing and charging me. If I just do nothing, absorbing the energy leads to very restful meditation sessions and a calm, in control attitude for several hours.

If I have something in mind with the energy, however, using my willpower and visualization-manifestation, I can use my psyche as a furnace and exhale any kind of energy I wish to fill my aura with, or to send it out and bring me excellent fortune, opportunity, luck, love, etc.

I have noticed a habit where I take very intense and unprompted inhales & exhales unconsciously anytime I need to maintain balance/focus, I feel this is a kind of subtle energy-work as well, being in the moment rather than in the drapings of ritual.

I would like to add that regularly during breaks in work, while driving, or in meditation, I will naturally gather in energy in a very visceral way:

There is first the choice to indulge in a brief respite, followed by a dropping away of all things not immediately within my field of vision. Then, unburdened, it's as though a the end of a large knot in my brain is pulled and the knot vanishes to achieve a very physical relaxing sensation centered between the eyes, as though tension I didnt even know i had gives way to more profound bliss. There are powerful inhales and exhales, but it's as though they are mirroring a more subtle process of taking soma in, and basking in fulfilled, unwanting peace.

All of this is very natural, and conscious intervention actually gets in the way of this. Does anyone else experience this?
