After 7 years the great SHWEP has finally reached Proclus. The introductory episode is an interview with Dr. Dylan Burns, an expert in neoplatonism and gnosticism.
Proclus is a massive figure for western esotericism and occultism. He provided a detailed, systematic exposition for pagan theology and ritual practice. Despite his strident polytheism his writings were valued by followers of the Abrahamic religions, where they proved greatly influential. Thankfully a ton of his work was copied and transmitted through the ages and comes down to us today.
For some background it might be helpful to listen to the past few episodes that talk about the revived Athenian Academy and its heads who preceded Proclus.
