Hi there!
I’m hollow glass, and it’s nice to be here Among you all. A little about me. I’m Deaf going blind and will be Deaf blind sooner rather then later. I use American Sign Language as my primary language but of course am fluent in English. Currently learning braille to be able to read when I lose sight in my one eye remaining. I tutor and teach American Sign Language for a living. Years ago I was on occult corpus but not for long. I havnt been initiated into any order and took a break from magical for a few years but am back practicing mainly tarot I’m tinkering with the idea of developing a tarot deck for the blind so I can still practice once the darkness envelopes me. I’m looking for friends on the path . To chill and learn from . I’m in Toronto Canada. thank you all for having me here. It’s an honor

Welcome.
I used to have blind friend, who lost sight (but she wasn't deaf), who mastered typewriting so well that she didn't need special keyboard to write. Maybe you can aim for that skill too, before loosing your eyes completely. BTW she was excellent occult practitioner, even when blind. It was even advantage for her as spirits she always saw perfect, while reality is complete blur or black. I'm sure you can get the best from your situation too.

Thank you Morell. That’s interesting I definitely will work on getting proficient with the keyboard. As well as the braille board

A warm welcome! I see you have to overcome a lot, wish you luck with that and I am sure you will thrive despite of everything! Astral travel is something that you can master. For that it doesn't matter if you are blind or deaf. In fact, you could be better than someone with sight and hearring, it can be an opportunity....

A thing, because I have work with blind people: on cards or drawings you can put over that hobby parchment paper (vellum) and emboss over the black lines of the Tarot cards. We did that for people who once could see and quickly learnt themself to see a picture with their fingers.

(See embossing tools. I can't put a link here, links to webshops are not allowed on WF)

Edit: it are those pens with a round tip so you can push a relief in the material you can work on.

@hollowglasd big welcome here and I am too new here . I joined the forum a few days ago. You are great and very brave and courageous , I am sure you enjoy hanging out here in this forum. Blind people loose just one vision of the matrix of the reality. But you have bigger chance of having the inner vision grown bigger. I am photographer and once during a study in a university in London we had a fellow- student who had his vision lost completely. But his photography skills and photographic approach were unique and original. So I learned something I never knew and it is we are all blind in one way until we understand about the inner and outer vision and how we are connected to our day-today reality or the matrix we are trapped in. Good luck to to and Astral traveling and connecting to the DREAM MIND WILL BE THE BEST TOO. I m new learning to magic and occult but it is another path for all I guess.
