Can multiple gods or entities be combined on the same altar?

Hello, I would like to know if anyone has ever worked on making an altar for the goddess Thyce Fortuna or Plutos. What do you think of it, and is it possible to combine several gods or deities/spirits on the same altar?

Hello! I live in an apartment and have limited space, so I only have a few working areas. I am not familiar with those you mentioned but I can comment in general.

IMO, there are absolutely some cases where altars need to be separated when the deities, spirits, cultures, or systems are vastly incompatible. I have one case that way with a small separate space. When you read about Santisima Muerte for example it is often stated that she does not like to share altar space. There are considerations to be made about classes of spirits sometimes as well & more.

On my main altar I have a center area reserved for my house/familiar and patron spirits / deities. I also work with spirits that you could say are somewhat aligned with the visible planets in a Neoplatonic cosmology, so what I do is I have them combined or arranged in their own little areas in the correct order as they would appear in the heavens.

Hope this helps a bit. This is just my personal UPG just to be clear, others may have a much different opinion so it will likely be an interesting conversation to hear what others have to contribute.

It is possible, but are you able to keep a good working relationship with all the deities on your altar, think of giving them attention, time, accepting their input and give that a place, doing rituals and/or worship etc. That is where the limit is. The limit is not on the altar, it is in you.

Of course. Many people have single altar for multiple gods and solve the issue in various ways:
- each god has their own space on the altar
- the altar contains nothing for specific god so any god can be called forth
- the altar is crated without items for specific gods, those are stored aside and put on altar depending on what god is called forth

There are more ways to go about this, this just came to mind.

The gods dont need you to build them an altar you build them one out of love/devotion. So whatever you can work with is good enough. They will provide you with the opportunity to build more altars if they feel you need to.

I have multiple altars in my home and my main one gets a lot of different gods and spirits on it. Just make sure you maintain it regularly, treating it as a home, and with reverence. Make due with what you have its the effort and attention to detail thats important.
