Hello, Wizards!

After reading his books, I’m interested in trying Wachter’s approach. If you’ve tried it before, would you recommend it? Any advice is appreciated.

I did his ritual for cleaning the stone with salt water, and his sigil method for around 6 months. I didn't notice any difference from his sigil/petition style compared to others, but his stone rite had a nice cleansing effect! I think it may have been from his second book?

i like AW, he seems a genuine original creative voice.
His first book is really for absolute beginners, and i think the problem here is that his basic techniques overlap with that of other systems, so if you are already progessed in another system (as i am) it's rather redundant.
However, his second book - weaving fate - is much deeper and more rewarding and i feel is getting into more of his deeper core, with more intensive practical magical techniques that are designed to be built up and practised over time, which generally is a more assured way to develop effectively in your craft.
Overal, his trilogy of books are very nice and it would be fantastic to see a single edition with all three books included.
I've recommended him to friends who are just starting out and i'll continue to do so.
