Binaural beats - theta waves

I've made a binaural beat with the tone difference of 8Hz (528Hz in the left ear, 536Hz in the right ear). This should be enough to induce the deep meditative state.

Try it out and let me know (stereo headphones required):

I used to make my own binaural beat meditations, and load them with subliminal messages.

How would you get a message there, a subtle recording as a backdrop?

I used to do one layer that was low volume and barely audible, one that was slowed down a lot, one layer that was sped up, and one layer that was reversed, and would have them automated to rotate pan around the stereo field. I also would add other musical elements, isochronic tones and sound effects to mask the subliminals.

What program do u use to do that? Any advice appreciated. I do advanced Hypnotherapy and would love to do this for some clients

I use an old version of StudioOne, which is now called Fender Studio, though any DAW will do the same job. ProTools is the most popular DAW and I have tried many different ones, StudioOne just fit my work flow. Reaper is a cheap and highly capable DAW, and Cakewalk is free though a little limited.

I believe Audacity could be enough for this particular case.

Audacity should work fine for this, it's probably the most simple for new users and it's free. I've made binaural/isochronic audio for the purpose of guided meditation as well as self-hypnosis for years. One effective way to layer the audio for hypnotic suggestion is to create two completely different scripts and separate them between the left and right channels, then use a third script over top which will be the lead script while the other two more or less blend into the background. You have to get creative to get things just right but I've seen impressive results doing it this way in myself and others.

Also, 8hz is the start of the Alpha wave frequency band, not theta.

if you want to experiment, this app is $2, has a free version, and will let you set frequencies and gain for both channels. it will also let you overlay binaural beats on top of other tracks. i often add them to chants or mood-setting background tracks when I am performing a ritual

You can also make audio sigils.
Just assign every letter to a frequency and stack and sequence them however you like.
I love to use FM synthesis with this+automation curves to form sentences. It's fun and can sound really cool if you put some work in.

I use Ableton+stock plugins. Here it's 7 instances of Operator with 1 oscilator each+1 for FM on each and multiband distortion.
Also some LFO's for modulation and tons of envelopes.

Did you add any subliminal messages to that music file or its just generic?
