Demonic (or any really) Ascension Practice

Can you define ascension?
IMO the structure of human form cannot ”go” anywhere and to attain a permanent change of being they must relinquish humanity and forge a new vehicle of consciousness.

I completely agree in one sense; You are correct with physical form, but wouldn't you agree that our conciousness is much greater than a perspective limited by humanity IF, given instruction on how to do that? I might be naive, but through experiences with Tibetan Buddhism and lengthy retreats, I have no doubt the mind is boundless. And, can not be found, lol. Long answer to your question, I know. ...And no, I can't define Ascension. I also can't define many things that are beyond definition.

If you're looking for relevant books, you should make a post to this effect in Book Discussion and Reviews with a Seeking Recommendation tag. If demonic ascension is a demonolatry thing, we have numerous books by S. Connolly in the Library including an entire collection of 50 books.

Perhaps you should explain the idea a little further, googling "demonic ascension" gives me nothing but fiction.

If you have many years of meditation experience, but still can't hear or see spirits, I'd suggest you need to work on healing, blockages, implants, or whatever else is keeping you from progressing. You will need good psychic abilities to engage with spirits in an astral temple.

I agree "Demonic ascension" needs more definition. The term demon is so overused as to be almost meaningless.

Perhaps you are looking for a path/practice in general? One that can lead to ascension? Ending the cycle of reincarnation?

In a general basic way human beings are 3 things. Body, Mind and Spirit. These things are a vehicle of consciousness. To an abandon humanity is to abandon the limitations of its conceptual boundaries. To let go and create a more suitable vessel for one’s own purpose.
the consciousness may be boundless but the mind it lays within is nothing but a boundary defined and limited by the qualities it is defined by.

By Ascension, are you referring to Astral Travel?

I appreciate all the answers and guidance. I'll do some more research work on blockages and psychic abilities.

'Ascension' (merging with the godhead) is typically said to be the RHP's ultimate goal whereas 'self-deification' is supposed to be what LHPers strive for. In this sense 'demonic ascension' creates a bit of a cognitive dissonance - merging with the godhead with the help of demons?! Perhaps you should tell us about where you want to ascend to.

I just looked up the book you mentioned in your first post. The full title is "Lake of Fire: A Daemonolater's Guide to Ascension", so I was right, it's a demonolatry thing, you could have said. Lots of S. Connolly books in the Library; in the amazon preview of her ascension book, she recommends that demonolatry beginners read "Drawing Down Belial" first, which is in the collection I mentioned, so that's your recommendation right there.

Strange that you should ask for books and info when you'll have both delivered to you in a few days if you don't mind me saying so.

Better ask such questions in the DemonolatryPractices subreddit, I don't think many active/posting forum members are much into demonolatry.
