I'll start - SOMA (Frictional Games)

By far the most fascinating and unsettling thought experiment of what it truly means to be human. Puts the player in quite a few uncomfortable moral conundrums with consequences for every decision made - either on the story, your conscious, or both. Will forever be #1 to me.

. I wouldn't say that it was my favorite game, but it is definitely somewhat disturbing. Game starts with main character witnessing the end of the world and ints transformation into inverted world of demons. He is also injected the worm by some old hag and little boy (who is actually Lucifer) and so is turning into the demon himself. I don't consider it as a spoiler, because it is just the beginning of the game.

Actually, the whole Shin Megami Tensei (SMT) series is about demonic worlds, player making pacts with demons, merging demons, etc. They are also known for their unforgivable difficulty, which only adds to the grim atmospehre of the games. I found Nocturne to be the most grim game in the series, but it might be subjective.

Play Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered as a Mage with birthsign also as Mage, it's quite an experience!

There's a book in the game called "Magic from the Sky" that takes inspiration from Hermetics remarkably well.

Overall I would call this video game experience quite a gold mine for the magic affiliated.

My fun time growing up was the Ultima Series on the Commodore 64.
Afterwards, it was at friends' homes playing on their consoles with the Final Fantasy series.
But my overall favorite was playing Guild Wars.

I'll be playing Baldur's Gate 1&2 until the end time. As the progeny of Baal you can go from being an orphan to becoming a god. I also find it funny that I could never get into the Diablo series which is a common fave often in comparison with the Baldur's Gate series.
