Hi all! I'm D, a Slavic animist with a bit of a Discordian bent, presently located in southwest Michigan, US. My earlier account got purged - probably due to inactivity, spam protection, or both.
I switch between my laptop for quick checks and my tablet to read forums, newspaper style. It may have triggered a security warning. Understandable!
I read through the forum rules and paid extra attention to the "no leeching" rule. While I tend to lurk due to time constraints/low energy, I have no intention of taking credit for other people's work. Giving credit where credit is due is something I am committed to. Additionally, I need to read the forums to determine what I might say that qualifies as useful and unique sharing.
I have a general interest in all things occult. I believe in reading until all the conflicts and cognitive dissonances show themselves. I love digging through materia in the public domain, and experimenting with ways to Get the Thing to Work. I am also a western herbalist, student of Hatha Raja yoga, and a multimodal diviner.
I am also a parent living in a fixer-upper, trying to keep it healthy and humble. Most of my absences are due to priorities, with my family being chief among them.
