This section seems the best place for this. Prayer is often part of religion and spirituality. It's a very simple ritual ive started doing and while it is an easy one to do but sometimes simple things can make a big difference and having them suggested is useful. Sometimes it's the little things that make a big difference
Here's what I do...when I'm feeling down and depressed I go outside to this tree I got with a chair hanging on it. I sit in it and burn incense. I then pray to my deities and mediate on my feelings. I focus solely on the emotions and why I feel the way I do as I talk to my gods. I also pay attention to my body to see how these emotions sit. I watch the incense burn waving it around as I do. Focusing on it. I do not stop praying and thinking on my emotions till the incense is gone. Once it's gone if I feel up to it I journal. Then get up and move through my day.
Once again I'm not sure how much this may help other people on here. I know some folk struggle trying to pray to their god or gods and some folk need help with their emotions. Incorporating something like this may help.
