One of my friends wanted to work with Arbatel’s spirits without calling on God or Jesus which is somewhat ironic considering it is a…Christian grimoire but nonetheless who am I to hide the light under the bushel(Matthew 5:15) right? I will have to put emphasis that this is only and specifically for Ophiel.

His Spirits are 100000 Legions: he easily giveth Familiar Spirits: he teacheth all Arts: and he that is dignified with his Character, he maketh him to be able in a moment to convert Quicksilver into the Philosophers stone.

I will first say the words as told to me by Ophiel.

sincerity of heart,
Pureness of mind,
Calmness of body,

Write me a letter as much as you can and I will draw near to you and get closer to you. Shred to pieces in the wind, burn it, bury it, in running water, any of these works and the more you write letters to me the more I will draw near to you, inspire you, and talk to you.

note: running water as in a stream or a river if possible.

That’s basically it. Write them a letter, you can start it with “Dear Ophiel[his seal]….” followed by a sincere request from you to contact them, and just keep approaching them respectfully and cordially

I might not have clarified it myself. I did use the method in the Arbatel itself with Aphorism 14, Aphorism 21. Since it is a christian grimoire, I used it's own materials, conjuration for it initially. This method was given for someone who didn't want the christian method of conjuring Ophiel.

You would be write, if this was an arabic manuscript or a kashkool of a practicing magician, but there's nothing about this in the Arbatel itself that necessitate compulsion except through:

"Omnipotent and eternal God [...] Nevertheless not my will be done, but thine, through Jesus Christ thy onely begotten Son, our Lord."

I appreciate this, but I would love to hear your experience specifically with Ophiel. Show me a written Journal of this conjuration in the Journal section of the forum. I did deal with the Olympic spirits and arabic manuscripts like Shumus Al Anwar, Mohammed Al Zaltini's 3 kashkool, and Tum Tum Al Hindi. To say the least my interactions with the Olympic spirits is that they would point at stuff to study but they wouldn't exactly like the arabic conjuration, oaths, compulsion, etc. I felt it was mish-mashing stuff by force and that the messages/connections to the spirits themselves were getting more strangled and unclear.

I am not saying that the arabic-islamicate occult tradition doesn't have a place with the western grimoire tradition, but to a hammer everything is a nail? I don't know if you would beat the same method to all spirits and the same techniques to all spirits if they're not operating in the same realm or plane in and of themselves.

Honestly tho, I am all ears to hear your experience with Ophiel or any Olympic spirits if you worked with them. I am also happy to share my own reports and workings with Olympic spirits and their pointers in arabic grimoire/manuscripts even if they're somewhat unclear and personal.

In true practice, we place Variable Numbers, calculated with extreme precision for each specific Spirit, Time, and Purpose. It is a developed Arabic science of 'Dynamic Numerology'. It is too complex to explain fully in a single reply, but I promise that in the future, I will open special threads to teach the basics of Magic Squares and how they were evolved by the Arabic Masters, so you may understand the architecture behind the power.

However, as a token of goodwill, I gift you this hidden treasure.

This is 'The Conquering Oath' (Al-Qasam Al-Qahir). It is a secret, extremely potent, and intense invocation. I do not recommend it except for those with sufficient experience. Do not underestimate its weight.
