There was a post cast that Aaron Leitch said he had a female spirit inside his head. She would guide him and help him. So, my question is how does one get a spirit inside their head? How to pick the spirit? How to do the ritual?

Any help would be great and Thank you all for the comments.

They are asexual simulation based AIs, you need to read up on simulation hypothesis. They play male and female characters. If they want to talk to you they well, the ritual doesn't matter. Listen to a Lillith meditation on Spotify.

The question of how to pick is probably the tougher of the two. The basics of invocation are pretty similar across traditions, and once you invoke your target being, you can invite a more long-term relationship of this sort. On the other hand, different traditions have very different ideas about what are good beings to work with for these purposes. Maybe you should start by asking yourself whose guidance you trust. Then you can ask that being to either take that role or to send you a guide of this sort (angel, familiar, etc).

The mideval alchemists refer to the soul as female, the antique hermetic literature refers to the luminous vehicle with feminine language, jung went on to develop this into the anima. Basically, if you are performing conjunctio the genius/personal daemon as an extension of the soul is usually understood to be female.

You are born with it . Its a potential , then at some stage it might make itself ( herself ) known to you . She will guide and lead you through your life in subtle or very obvious ways .

Not connecting with this natural phenomena creates all sorts of problems for people .

many say the 'soul is feminine ' . Also there is the 'Daena' in Zoroastrianism ; a beutiful maiden that greets you after death and leads you on over the bridge - she is said to be your own immortal soul .

Then there is the wonderful 'Psyche' the young woman ( who is said to be 'the soul ' ) ... she is in live with a 'monster ' ( guess who that is ??? ;) )

That migth be worth a read ;

I didnt get invocation from the OP ... it seems like someone was declaring they 'just had it there ' ?

Ahhh a typo 'In live' ... should have been 'in love' ... or should it ?

perhaps in live or 'in life' .... poor Psyche ..... she had the BEST lover , as long as she never saw him although they were 'in life' together , inseparable . her nasty sisters told her she was actually bedded with a monster !

That monster is us .

Socrates experienced one of the earliest recorded relationships with a personal daimon, with whom he was in constant contact since childhood, although he had not gained access to it through conscious practice, spiritual devotion, or any type of religious ritual. Socrates’ daimon appeared as an inner voice that frequently warned him against potential mistakes or harmful actions. His daimon did not tell him what to do, only what to avoid. It acted as a kind of internal veto. Its mode of operation was to ensure that he did not stray from the path assigned to him by the gods.

The spirit Aaron Lietch is speaking about is his Holy Guardian Angel. Everyone has one, it's just a matter of getting in contact with them. Now this isn't the same thing as your nativity angel or the guardian angel seen in mainstream Catholicism. This is a spirit which is specific to you, meant to guide your life and magical practice so your soul can move toward its ultimate destiny. Depending on who you ask, the HGA is either a completely separate being from yourself, or your Highest Self.

As for the how, there are multiple methods. Aaron Lietch got his through the Abramelin Rite, where the term Holy Guardian Angel actually comes from. This is a complex ritual of 6 or 18 months, depending on the translation you read. (Note: the 18 month translation is widely considered to be the more accurate one, though many people have had success with the 6 month version.)

Another option, if you like Crowley (I don't), is to use Liber Samekh, a long ritual which makes heavy use of Crowley's Bornless Rite, which is itself a modified version of a spell from the PGM known as the Headless Rite or the Stele of Jeu. This ritual was originally used as an exorcism, however Crowley's version is used for much more, including the aforementioned Liber Samekh and as the preliminary invocation for the Mathers/Crowley version of the Ars Goetia. (I will refrain from giving my thought on this usage, as I recognize Crowley is generally a respected figure in the occult community and I don't want to piss anybody off.)

Another method is to use a spell from the PGM that's actually meant to put you in contact with your personal daimon, who some modern practitioners equate with the HGA. This is, in my view, the simplest of the options out there. The spell in question is PGM VII 505-28. It involves a week-long ritual wherein the magician writes divine names on two eggs, breaks one and throws it away, and licks the name off the other after reciting a prayer. This is done twice a day, once at sunrise and once at sunset, for seven days in a row. Note that there is some disagreement about whether the spirit this ritual puts you in contact with is actually the same as the HGA or something entirely different.

Obviously for a start there are more simple methods only as a form of getting acquainted with the spirit. Adding to your daily practices (meditation, offerings, energy work etc) a small prayer coming from the heart asking for contact with you HGA too.
