Greetings everyone. I hope all of you are doing well. I'm very much interested by a book called Secret Angel Magick by Adam Blackthorne. I'm kinda stuck in a certain part of the world where it's not safe, and I wanted to use a certain ritual to promot that positive change, but I'm bit terrfied since I read those Angels of Omniptence are distrubtive and can do scary things. Have you used that book ? What is your experience and words of recommendation and safety measures ? Thank you so much
Greetings everyone. I hope all of you are doing well. I'm very much interested by a book called Secret Angel Magick by Adam Blackthorne. I’ve recently read this book, and honestly, it captivated me, especially those particular illustrations used in the Nine Spirits application. Look closely, man, those aren't just ordinary drawings; they are a direct ideological projection of an inner vision from the author’s astral eye. Deep words, aren't they?
In that very concept, the Nine Spirits—and notice, they are not all Angels—are inspired by the application of certain meanings, but the question remains: Are they truly beneficial, or is this just another pile of nonsense?
I believe if you had a strong connection or a Spiritual Guide who gave you that initial touch of light to open your spiritual field, you would find them useful. And I can tell you something: I have seen those very drawings—and I emphasize, the drawings—reflected in a Mandal (Scrying mirror) application after the ritual concluded. That is, after the spirits manifested to the child medium and departed, I noticed the oil literally held very similar shapes, almost like a spiritual fingerprint of the finished encounter. This always preoccupied my mind until this author came along and proved to me that they truly are spiritual imprints of the spirits' manifestation in matter. That is the actual reality of those designs.
So, are they useful? I believe they are genuine and not built upon mere delusion or superstition.
But I strongly advise you to first invest your time with the 84 Spirits. Within them resides one guiding spirit who is the key to everything; if you can truly grasp it, you will have opened all the gates.
Is using them frightening or harmful? I don't think so, except in one specific case: if you are a scoundrel in your dealings with the spirits, or if you are arrogant. In that case, you will certainly be disciplined through your worst fears. However, if you respect yourself and realize who you are as a human individual, and understand who they are as spiritual Kings and Rulers in that realm, you will address them with a rational, enlightened, and respectful discourse. When you do that, you will be deeply honored by them.
Consider, my friend, that spirits are a mirror of your conscious self: respect them, and they will respect you; insult them, and they will insult you in the most horrific ways, or if you are lucky, they will simply ignore you completely. If they ignore you, you will find that even the most compelling binding adjurations become utterly ineffective in your hands.
I recommend starting with a Circle of Protection. You can form it with a simple, effective plan: flour + salt + consecration with a Psalm of Protection. Or, writing the Ten Divine Names of the Tree of Life around you creates a perfect perimeter fence.
Always, always sprinkle the place with water mixed with vinegar and sea salt after the spirits depart or your work is finished each time. But be careful; this ritual effectively breaks the bonds, meaning every future summoning will be like the very first time.
After finishing, always cleanse yourself fully. And before summoning, I strongly advise a full wash with tap water and soap. Never practice evocation after sexual activity, when completely full from a meal, or while intoxicated.
If you follow these pieces of advice, you will find that the book is enjoyable and holds benefits both big and small, depending entirely on who you are as a magus and what your value is in the Otherworld.
My greetings to all. I hope anyone who sees this topic replies and interacts with us, as this process will always bring benefit back to them; that is my absolute covenant.
