The Aghori are an ascetic sect of Hinduism, primarily associated with the worship of Shiva in his form as Bhairava, the fierce aspect of the deity. Known for their extreme and unconventional spiritual practices, the Aghori challenge societal norms and taboos to achieve liberation (moksha) and transcendence. They focus on breaking attachments, embracing the unity of all existence and transcending dualities like purity and impurity, life and death, and pleasure and pain.

Some practices performed by these Aghori's are meditation on cremation grounds, while this is typically seen as spaces of death and decay the Aghori sees these spaces as gateways to transcendence. They believe facing death and decay head on helps overcome the fear of mortality.

Cannibalistic Rituals are also performed by the Aghori, while rare Aghori's are known to consume human flesh from corpses found at cremation grounds, not out of malice but as part of their spiritual practices to transcend taboos and realize the oneness of all existence. While many say these are myths and that Aghori's do not eat flesh every lie has some truth. If not seen in modern age the practice was most likely used as the Aghori even resort too eating his own feces to relief the self of the illusion of duality, but this can also be seen as myth depending on who you are asking.

Aghori's are known to obtain powers known as Siddahs thanks to their extreme practices and liberation of separation and duality. There are many known Siddahs that have been recalled throughout history by many buddha's and deities alike. Through the Aghori's worship of both Shiva and Kali the divine feminine destroyer, the compliment to Shiva's Masculine force and their extreme and taboo rituals and practices they tap into source of divine, much like other Hindu, Buddhist, and or Jainism practices such as Tantra and other forms of Yoga which look to align/unite with God through your own body as a vessel or portal making such a God's body.

The Left-Hand Path deals heavily with self-deification and for that we must look to understand how the gods see in this outlook, the Aghori has broken the spell of illusion of "Good" and "Bad" breaking limitations typical "humans" set every day in almost every waking moment. In a way we all suffer from a form of self-dissociation from the world and the universe we engulf and are engulfed, in erasing the idea of "being" an individual but instead building upon the collective conscious and or idea of the "god" mind or hive mind of the Universe.
