As most of you may know from my previous thread I recently quit smoking. And if you've known me ever since I joined this forum then you might recall that I enjoy singing and playing guitar. Any tips on how I can recover my old voice at least a little bit if any? I was a pretty light smoker so it should be possible right?

A whiskey voice eventually goes away. Drink warm water and honey. I heard some opera singers do that. Maybe google recipes for soothing throat.

Thanks. This helps. Perhaps I should also take something to cough up the built up phlem in my throat since it builds up when you smoke and that's part of the reason it becomes hoarse
