Hello. This will just be my journal for pictures and casual discussion. I have journals and notes elsewhere, but as this is a new venture for me (ceremonial magic), and I’d love insight wherever possible.
An image from my first official "working" (the First Meditation) with the Ovate Grade temple. The Lesser Ritual of the Pentagram went smoothly - memorization of that and the Rite of the Rays has been surprisingly smooth. Meditation was a little cluttered, as work has been frustrating for a long time, but it was a mildly productive session, I suppose.
The guidance thus far is to alternate the summoning and banishing LRP each morning, which I've tried to do the last few days, but I feel exposed. We aren't calling any spirits or anything, but I guess the language makes me feel open (vulnerable) when summoning and closed (protected) when banishing. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated, if you have them.
I keep thinking of everything in terms of my job, which is incredibly frustrating. Perhaps I need to banish that thought....
