Title says it, obviously I'm referring to a book that uses occult / magick / etc methods primarily, otherwise I wouldn't ask on this forum

Currently looking at Financial Magick, issue for me is moreso where to direct my focus, currently mainly going through Miller's stuff because he seems pretty practical and results oriented, but would like to know the opinions of those here! So recommendations would basically just seal the deal for me and allow me to go all in on it, thanks!

And of course, mundane work is already in action, not relying on magick.

If it's a course, or some other format, that's fine, as long as it's solid.

Would "Magical Riches" be better than his "Wealth Magick" book you think?
"Wealth Magick" is supposed to make you super-rich, I wasn't sure you were aiming that high.

"Better" is always relative, I'd say. If you like the author's style and what he or she has got to say, the book's right for you. If you want a good overview of what opinions on prosperity magic are out there, I'd suggest this anthology. There is a glut of modern occult books on 'manifesting abundance' that turn me off as soon as I look at the cover, not to speak of NewAge fluff on the topic or New Thought classics like "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill.

The best magic is the one you get to work. Damon Brand's book (and the Gallery of Magick in general) impressed me with their awesome sigils, that's why I did various operations based on them; however, if those sigils are nothing but pretty doodles to you, his books are unlikely to do anything for you. There are many books on wealth, money and financial magic in the Library but I like Jason Miller's and Damon Brand's book best because they do not cater to unrealistic expectations like many other books do.

Whatever book or method you choose: perform the ritual(s) with total conviction, focus and authority. Give it your all, pour your heart and your whole being into it.

One last thing: Don't underestimate the inborn human resistance to change, even if it's change for the better. Jason Miller, for example, writes about how he used to be a slacker which is a pleasant lifestyle if you don't mind the constant poverty. That slacker existence must end if you want to be rich, that inner secret conviction that you'll never amount to anything must go, same as the blind greed for mere status symbols as a compensation for a hidden inferiority complex, etc., the list is endless. Some sincere and sometimes painful soul-searching (instead of bleating stupid affirmations like "I deserve to enjoy abundant wealth") beforehand is in order, and to some extent your magical success is likely to hinge on the required inner transformation as well. Start where you are right now, not where you ideally should be according to some chirpily optimistic authors, factor in any resistance to change you may harbour and be prepared to repeat the recommended ritual(s) as long as necessary. If I personally decided to shoot for riches, I'd have a whole mountain of deep-set negative attitudes to grind down first...

In my personal experience, Wealth Magick has a tendency to change your trajectory in all areas of wealth: your time, health, money, and perspective of beauty. It has an entire built-in system which you'll need to commit to doing for at least six months. In comparison to Financial Sorcery which provides more theory and practical sorcerer advice on how-to go about certain aspects of job finding and money making. If you have an existing system that you're working with, applying Financial Sorcery (or even Elements of Spellcrafting) could offer more. Otherwise if you're okay with working with a pre-set of spirits that you may not have a relationship with, Wealth Magick is superior in my opinion. Magickal Riches is for more short-term while Wealth Magick is more long-term. Hope this helps.

You know, when we talk about wealth, it's not just about money in the bank - it's also about feeling rich in life, relationships, and personal growth.

I've been working on this six-month ritual myself (currently on number 7), and I'll be wrapping it up by the end of the month. Being totally honest here - it hasn't really clicked for me. If anything, my wallet's actually gotten lighter (very, unfortunately)!

Funny enough, I've noticed that while most GOM books don't really vibe with me, Gordon Winterfield's stuff just hits different. I guess that's just how it goes sometimes - not everything works for everyone.

Hey, if you're thinking about giving it a shot, I'd say go for it! Just keep an eye on how it feels to you - you'll know if it's your thing or not. Trust your gut, the real magick is just inside you so listen yourself.

I really hope that you find what works for you. And who knows? Maybe, just maybe, this is exactly what you need to shake things up in your life and in the end you will be a very different person, not just in your wallet but for who you really are...

Let me know how it goes!

Also - do you guys think it's fear mongering when people say magic is evil or will get you messed up or possessed or whatever

The greatest danger is ending up wasting too much time by reading too many occult books or hanging around forums like this one ;). Also, this:
