[Archive] [Brother MOLOCH 969] A Good First Spell To Perform & Test Your JuJu With

A thread that was copied from the original Wizard Forums.
Yes, I am an author and practitioner both, still I find it appalling the way otherwise people who claim to be powerful with sorcery and magic or even those learning it will literally stoop to begging for FREE books on pdf's. Really? You're a witch? Sorcerer? Magician? Vodu Priest? Whatever, you claim to be you're full of it because you're a wannabe with no magic in you at all if this is your method of getting a desired book.

The Book section of this site is rife with "Please post a link for (fill in author's name or book title here)". Seriously this is pathetic. So-called PRACTITIONERS of the occult, many who claim they work with SPIRITS no less, who stoop so low as to begging for something free. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves for doing that. We're not talking help with your rent or utilities but a BOOK.

What does this say about you and your occult powers? That you don't have any? Because you CAN'T get your allegedly mighty powers to help you bring a desired book in physical form to you. Sad. Even pitiable. Well I used to think like the lot of you years ago until I got wise to this horrid way of thinking. I realized begging was dumb especially if I had real JuJu on my side.

If I wanted a book, I wanted it in physical form to add to my occult library. I realize many of you like the whole electronic library method but BE HONEST for once, that's because you don't have to pay any $$$ for it. Yet you find money to blow on everything else you want like pizza and junk food, beer & wine, weed and pills, concert & movie tickets, and anything else that won't help you one bit become a better person or help you grow in spiritual power but by god you spend your $$$ on that crap. But buying a book???? Perish forbid!

So here we go, let's just see how badass you really are, Mr/Ms Practitioner. I'm going to give you a simple spell that works for me to find any book I ask for at a reasonable price. Now realize this doesn't work for new, fresh off the press books like the limited print hardcovers from places like Nephelim Press, Scarlet Imprint and so on. This is mainly because the print run is so low on these books that the spell's JuJu simply doesn't have enough copies from which to work. This working tends to be best for more mass marketed types of books from bigger publishers like Red Wheel, New Page, Aquarius, and so on. (It's worked quite well for me with the Stephen Skinner & David Rankine books.)

Mind you with patience, you just may find an original Andrew Chumbley for sale in a used bookstore or at an estate auction. You just never know who dies and of course there are the surviving relatives who like to take these books and sell them off to bookstores en mass such as at Half Price Books. Not every used book dealer is aware that Andrew Chumbley is a big name to watch out for.

Most of my hits come from Amazon, Half.com, eBay and Abe books online but on occasion I visit Half Price Books and am astounded at what I find sitting on the shelf at half the cover price. Smiling

The Working to Procure A Desired Book

Needed:
printed image of desired book (make it at least 5 X 7)
photograph of yourself (either thumbnail or wallet size are sufficient)
plain white ceramic plate
white, unscented tea light candle

On back of printed image of book, write how much you're willing to spend to get this book. Be reasonable here. (Don't be a douchebag and expect to get it for nothing or next to nothing!) Usually I write mine out as "I want to pay $50 or under". Realize too that the price you're willing to pay also affects the condition the book may be in (which shouldn't matter since the lot of you only care about the information inside - well a pdf is nothing but that, right?)

Lay the image facing up on the white ceramic plate and then in the middle of it, place your photograph. Light the white tea light candle and set this on top of your photo. Face east and hold the plate aloft in front of you by saying:

"Ancestors, I call out to you to help bring this book to me. Help me find it and at the price I am willing to pay. I would like for it to be in good, readable condition and for under $50 in price which is the most I can afford. Thank you for your assistance in this matter."

Now bow by slightly bending your knees without inclining your body forward and then quickly stand back up. This is an occult bow commonly known as a curtsy in other circles of society.

Then you turn RIGHT to face west and you continue to hold the plate in front of you while saying what you did in the east. Then bow and turn LEFT to face north and repeat the incantation and the bow. When finished turn RIGHT one final time and face south and repeat all you did in the east once more. When finished, set the plate with the lit candle on your work table (or altar) until the candle burns out in a few hours. Dispose of everything the following day.

Obviously keep the ceramic plate as it can be reused in other rituals.

Also, while not necessary, you may wish to anoint the picture of the book with Mercury oil as Hermes/Mercury are known to be both messengers (who also procure and find things for the gods) and also these spirits are very much into both knowledge as well as magic.

Give about 21 days to start seeing the book you desire at prices in your ball park. The rarer the book, however, the more patient I am with this working because I realize it may take the spirits quite a while to even FIND a copy for sale let alone a copy that's within my price range.
