Christmas - Pagan holiday

I just watched this video and it seems that Christmas is not at all a Christian holiday as we are led to believe but rather a pagan holiday that was masked by Christian church. Are there any actual proofs of this which I can use in argument? I don't want to be one of those who say: A ha, Christmas is not a Christian holiday and then be proven otherwise with a much better argument.

Any type of belief/tradition/knowledge is just the current built on what came before, that’s built on what came before, etc, etc…ad nauseam

These things are always people wanting to make a point and ignoring that very fundamental human truth to make it seem like there’s a point to be made.

(cue that matrix scene about old people and points)

*sorry I’m in a ranting mood today.

I do understand that it always predates something etc, however I wanted to have an actual proof that Christmas is not an original Christian holiday. No matter what it was for Pagans before, if they took it from some other tradition. Because I was Christian until the last week and things started becoming very unusual to me.

I am not speaking against Christianity nor offending anyone who follows this religion.

Look if you try to have this conversation with die hard christians you have lost already!!!!

The question isn't about the arguments.
The question is about to who you want to share them.

When you expose those points to people who have a deep faith to one singular dominant religion, this is like busting their safe bubble... So they will feel the need to defend themselves.

Even the most accurate historical proof can end up as an "anyway it was before God relieve itself to people" 😅

As occultists/magicians... We know that religions are constructs that don't appear from thin air.... But unlike "muggles atheists" we also know this isn't just fairytales and myths, we do know the power of beliefs, egregores and symbolism.

Christmas remains a celebration of its own that is very much real, either for people who sincerely love Jesus or its secular version with children who make offerings to a man-in-green in exchange of presents ahaha.

All that co exist together.

Thank you for the reply. Pretty solid points you made. It makes no sense to argue with a hardcore believer because they are probably going to defend it with life and remain blind.

Ok, that's all I needed in this topic, thanks everyone.

There are only so many days in a year, and once the early church fathers, bishops or whoever had decided to celebrate Jesus's birthday on a given day, it made good sense not to have this holiday when everybody's working in the fields or is busy with the harvest but in winter on or around the time of the winter solstice where everybody can literally see a glimmer of hope on the horizon as the days are getting longer once again. My favourite historical explanation is the

Christmas is a Christian holiday. There are older pagan holidays that resemble it for historical reasons. It doesn't make it not Christian.

This phenomena isn't unique to Christmas either. Ever wondered what painted eggs had to do with the Resurrection? As I recall, it was a Beltane tradition that Christians started doing to open a conversation with pagans.

Also, what @HoldAll said. The winter solstice is one of the most important days of the year. There should always be a celebration around that time.

Did you not know that? Because thats genuine old news. Christians appropriated everything from germanic traditions. Otherwise it would have never been able to set roots here.

Do you also not know that the weekdays are named after germanic deities? And Saturday after Saturn and Sunday after Apollo.

And the months are named after Roman Emperors or roman terms in general.

Basically their whole religion is just a poor mish mash of various different traditions.

Christianity is a continuation of Judaism, but it seems that they took bits of this and bits of that and created a new religion. I am aware how they spread around the world and what tricks they used. Among my ethnic group (Slavic) they took our goods and adopted them into their important figures.

You are indeed a wise owl for knowing that the jew created christianity for the goyim.

I am not quite sure how extra terrestrials got involved but in any case jews took the concept of christcuckery and made sure its extra poisonous to the mind. They then spread it among the roman empire after Emperor Hadrian (May he live forever) absolutely wiped the floor with them. (Since they could not even dream of defeating pagans in a battle)

Unfortunately the disease of christianity took hold among the people and it slowly corrupted the Empire until it fell apart.

The result is 0 progress for a 1000 years until Rosicrucians came along. Then however freemasons decided to play along with the jews again, got degenerated as well and well you can see the result of that in the modern world.

In any case, Abrahamism wont be around for much longer.

And people like you and me are required to accelerate the purge of Abrahamism so we can go back to our original traditions. Sol Invictus

I have seen the documentary called "The fall of Kabbalah". I had to find it on some website for streaming conspiracy theories. It really shows a deeper story to this.
