"Classical and Quantum Chaos by Predrag Cvitanovic, Roberto Artuso, Per Dahlqvist, and others is a comprehensive exploration of chaos theory within both classical and quantum systems. The book delves into the unpredictable behavior in deterministic classical systems, known as classical chaos, where small changes in initial conditions can lead to vastly different outcomes. This is often illustrated by phenomena like the butterfly effect, which demonstrates the sensitivity of chaotic systems.

The text transitions to quantum chaos, examining how chaotic behavior manifests in quantum systems, which are governed by the principles of quantum mechanics. The authors explore how classical chaos influences quantum phenomena, leading to complex behaviors in systems that were traditionally considered predictable at the quantum level. Key topics include periodic orbits, Lyapunov exponents, and the correspondence between classical and quantum mechanics. The book aims to provide a bridge between classical deterministic chaos and the emerging understanding of chaos in quantum systems, making it a crucial resource for physicists and mathematicians interested in the underlying complexities of chaotic behavior across different scales."

This is a science book, not an occult one but I'll let it stand because there still may be chaotes around who think they can 'prove' their magic works by referring to popular science (and inevitably getting it wrong) and who will get a wholesome shock when confronted with the sober real thing. Just don't post any serious books on quantum theory, some forum members might cry. ;)
