Cloth that can be written on

Hi,
In the ritual I am wanting to accomplish, it calls for cloth that can be written on with chalk. Does anyone know a good fabric like this? Maybe peppered cotton?

Isn't papyrus/paper technically cloth? I've even heard parchment being referred to as "cloth parchment".

But you could try black dyed linen...

Try some tailors chalk, it can write on most fabric xx
