[Tutorial] Creating sigils with a telephone!

Informative post.
Not a tutorial in sigil creation as such but a fun technique I’ve used to create sigils in the past.

If you’ve used the Rose Cross method to create a sigil then this is familiar but definitely belongs in the chaos magick camp in terms of using whatever you have to make magic happen.

After creating your statement of intent, paring down the letters to your minimum then using the letter layout found on telephone keypads (sorry, think pre smartphone keypads) you can create a nifty little sigil

I find it difficult creating a sigil that has an aesthetic I’m happy with at times and this takes that element of decision making out of the equation, also it appeals to my Chaos magick background and taps into the zeitgeist.

Just a bit of fun.

Actually, smartphones have letters on nuber buttons in phone app, they are quite loud too. Or you can look for "t9 old style keyboard" on google play.

Have fun!

What a brilliant idea! I’m going to try this out!
Another cool thing about this method is that the “language” as it were, is already built into our subconscious after years of using phones with the letters on the numbers.

One could probably expand this idea into a sort of
Isopsephy / gematria system

Yeah I really like the idea that it could be tapping into our collective subconscious. Would be fun to try and expand on it too 😁
