This is a thread created to talk about the appearances of the demons or other entities, deities, as they appeared to you. We know they have no physical form, and their manifestation can be very... varied, yet there are people who seen them appear quite similar. Whatever is the case, it is always interesting to hear different experiences (feel free to attach them to your message, if you wish).
Those who have been working with demons, or contacted them in any way or form, how did they manifest to you? Feel free to attach images describing them the most accurately.
This is how a couple of infernal appeared to me during my time with them.

He also appeared in a very angelic way, with flowing blonde hair, in shining gold armor, and piercing yellow-red eyes.
In another thread, someone said the "appearance" of a demon is its sigil. Personally, reading at least some descriptions, I suspect how a demon "looks" depends a lot on the looker's preconceptions and wishes. I rarely read a demon's literal, true, and accurate description without thinking of the sequel to "Donnie Darko" where the born-again chick gushes, " Jesus? My Lord has great abs curly chestnut hair and a great tan."

I've never heard about that, and I think it mainly reflects on how they interpet them. We are all "souls" demons included to begin with, therefore, any form of manifestation in any shape is just a self-representation of themselves. Of course, if the entities chose not to give these people a humanoid form, or their visualisation abilities are limited, even a Sigil will do the trick, and may be just enough for these people.
But the reason why they chose to manifest in a certain way? It it depends on multiple factors.
You can find descriptions of demons' "preferred manifestations" from different texts. Individuals' experiences of how they seen a demon appear is varied as well, but it happened quite often that similarities were involved. It said that there are some demons who are willing to change their form if requested. Now, the way how other deities or angels appear just to take some example is also just a matter of visualisation and how they wish to appear for you, since no souls have a body physically resembling a humanoid to begin with.
This is always a tool for them to deliver an image, an effect, a certain energy, the same way you chose your clothing, makeup, hairdo based on the event you participate in. It represents the nature of the entity, be it a demon, an angel, a deity etc.
Your visualisation abilities can also influence if they appear to you, as some people struggle to visualize even a sigil while practicing. How experienced you are to fell into a trance, leave behind your consciousness, connect with the entities to meet them on other dimensions does influence how vidid these manifestations can be, OR if it is even possible for them to show something to you that you have no sense to even see properly. For they can try to appear to you, but if your abilities are not sharp enough, it's like trying to appear in a dirty, shattered mirror covered with filth. You will not appear to see yourself - neither they are. My mother is a great example. Her visualisation ability is very poor, so it's rare when she sees humanoid appearance of her Master, or the angels she is working with.
I love how in case of Zozo, for instance, in 90% of the cases I've seen people describing him as a thin figure with blacker skin than black, and yellow or white eyes.
I've also seen people describing demons appear to them in a shape of animals, over humanoid shape, even if many people claimed to see them in a humanoid shape. I think, the reason why they chose a shape, may have some meaning, a definite goal, but it can change any time and in each individual's case.
For instance, if a demon desire to seduce you, they'll take a form that is attractive, so it'll be easier for the to wrap you around their fingers, and get what they want. Like, um... as @HoldAll said, ripped, for example. Jokes aside, it can represent their powerful masculine energies.
One of the truly wearying things about O9A is the members' ruling aesthetic sense. Most all their depictions of allegedly mighty Dark Gods look like anemic junkies who are having a really bad hair day and a worse one emotionally.

In my noon days I had been focusing on Dantalion and asking for Him to appear to me and for communion. One morning, not long after having gave a few offerings I woke up and an image was superimposed in the middle of my room. I have been preoccupied with prepping and the apocalypse for a while and had asked for help, advice, foretelling of keeping and managing my property in the country. The first image was the view from the top of the hill I live on in my vineyard. The sun was rising in a very vibrant gold light. I took this as reassurance that everything would be OK. The image changed into a stack of sprockets turning around a central beam. I took this to mean that things were in motion, I had been heard, and He was helping me. It was all surrounded in an electric blue aura and it elevated up and through the ceiling. I have read that the blue aura and leaving through the ceiling are characteristic and common of Him. My scrying skills were non existent, I believe I was visited for assurance that it was all very real shit I was getting into and that I had been heard and was on the right path. Hail Dantalion.
Andrealphus appeared to me like this. Accompanying this was the sound of a rattlesnake, and the image of peacock feathers with eyes (but not a peacock itself).

If demons are fallen angels or dethroned gods, I'm not sure they'd look too different from their original forms. That is unless Hell somehow mutates it's inhabitants.

These beings are non-physical, transcendental entities, so they are not bound to physical shape and body. They can manifest any way they feel it fit to the conjurer or those who reach out to them.
All these experiences are in the current house i live in.
So i do not really have a picture to describe my most significant manifestation, but i will try my best to describe it. I do have a couple others, but those have no context refering to a specific name like this one did. So i met lucifer (as he identified himself as, so i do not know for certain) without any means of calling him at all and i seen him physically only through a mirror in my bathroom appearing to my right shoulder, and then he superimposed himself over me — i then was him.
So he was gray colored, scaled, large dark eyes, wide mouth, and a long bridged nose pointed down. He had claws and his voice was very soft and calming.
His message i did strongly reject, because it did not make sense to me. He said "you are me, you are lucifer, you always were me."
I did have a vision to follow after this, but i do not wish to talk about it in specifics as its personal to me.
My rejection was after the vision he gave me. Yes, i did feel immensely powerful during this vision — but with that was something that I could not handle, and the brief moment of experiencing that was way to overwhelming for me which led to me rejecting what he told me.
He didn't lash out at me hurting me or anything, but he did keep repeating "you are me, you are lucifer.
So thats it with that story. The other one involved a old man (i did write in another thread about a physical old man having powers but this is a entirely different story involving what i believe to be a demon of a unknown name). So i have had 2 roommates that told me the same description of a old man, walking with a dog usually in my house. For the longest time i heard both of them talk about how many times they seen him, but i was yet to see him. So i ended up seeing him and again it was through a mirror, but my bedroom mirror at around 3 am. It was wierd looking, it was a blue apparition just the bust of the old man so no legs. He was just staring at me saying nothing. So i just kept staring at him, then i looked behind me to check if hes there which he was not but in the mirror he was clearily there. I was like "this is fucking cool" to myself lol. So i don't know why i said this but i whispered to him "go to the light" just to see what would happen. Nothing happened, so i started to get uncomfortable with him just staring at me so i decided to go downstairs and sleep on the couch. When i went downstairs this thing went nuts. He started screaming "ahhhhhhhhhhhh" and i heard him stomping around my bedroom opening drawers and slamming them. He did the same thing with my bedroom door. He kept walking to the top of my steps and he would just pace there making noise, and then he would repeat with his screaming going nuts in my room several times. Eventually it stops and hear him in my basement with what sounded like a little kid. It sounded like they were having a good time playing hide and go seek for a bit — and then silence. That was it, never had a encounter again with him.
So i had several encounters with a shadow kid before this. The first encounter happened at 3 am or 4 am. At first i thought this was some little shit kid accross the street with a blue laser shining it through my door window. So it was coming from a house accross the street (note i later found out that house's family was on vacation at the time of this encounter). I walk accross the street and i see what was clearily a kid in the dark and i say "do that shit again and im calling the cops you little fucking shit." So i get back to my house and this thing walks right up to my door window shining the laser again in my left eye. It was strange as it was always my left eye. I open the door about to tackle the shit out of this kid but he was extremely fast. Now i remember i went upstairs to grab my phone and this kid was on top of my house which is 3 stories high to get up there — you need a 30 foot ladder to get up there and he got up there instantly. So when that happened and he was shining the blue laser again which was now through the sky light of my bathroom, i did not know what to do. So this thing tormented me all night until day time came. My left eye was physically damaged. All my other encounters were the same but they progressively got worse like it getting into my house shining the blue laser under doorways and stuff like that, or open drawers in my room and shining it out of the drawer being cracked open. Im thinking this may of been the same entity as the old man but just in a different form. Well lets just say im happy i have not had anymore encounters, because that was a serious pain in the ass.
The last one i have here is interesting. So i had a very vivid dream of cat crawling into my bed when i was trying to sleep. In the dream i had my eyes closed so i just hear the cat breathing, and he or she starts rubbing his head on my head. Then the cat licks my face. Now that is when i realized this was no normal cat. The tongue covered my entire face. This immediately woke me up out of my dream and when i opened my eyes i seen a black cat the size of me, and it scared the shit out of me so my reaction was to jump up. The cat got scared to and bolted out of my room. So normally i keep my bedroom door closed, but this time it was open — and the door to the bedroom across from mine was open too with that bedroom's window wide open (i do not open windows). Not sure what the hell that was, but i stayed up the rest of the night reading about giant cat legends lol. I found nothing online similar to this type of encounter so far.

You know, watch that last encounter with a cat be a real cat like one of those Maine Coons. I really don't know, it was friendly though until it scared the shit out of me.
Personally, Belial appears to me in two different, yet really similar ways.
The first is like a slender, but fit very pale man with shoulder length, black, straight hair. He has gray eyes and there’s red around them (skin area). He wears a sort of white Victorian or Gothic style shirt. I’ve also seen him spontaneously wear a lot of colorful jewelry, with pretty nails, and even a crown.
The second is pretty much the same, but with white hair. He glows, and his light is very white, pale, and cold. In this form he is more like an angel than a demon.
I don’t work with the following demons, but this is how I see them:
Vepar looks very much like a mermaid with long, wavy hair. I can’t quite see its color, but it’s something between pale ashen blue-green, and gray. They have gray-ish skin, a sharp face, and they usually smile showing their sharp teeth. Their twisted beauty is notable. Sometimes I see a starfish on the side of their head, sometimes I don’t.
Asmodeous just looks like a really big, buff shadow with round, clear eyes. He has claws and his skin is blackened here and there.
Orobas looked like a tall man with long straight black hair (like, waist length). I once drew him many years ago and I drew him with a cape, wearing a sort of military style uniform (?, and a helmet in the shape of a horse head.
Paimon looks very elegant and majestic. Wearing a long, purple royal attire of sorts with big long sleeves. He wears an intricate golden crown on his head and his expression is very amiable, gentle, but powerful. He also has really long, straight, black hair. I quite literally see him riding a camel haha.
Those are the only demons I’ve seen and how I’ve seen them.
Very ugly. I saw a glimpse and got scared. I was sleeping. An entity shook me beside my bed it was short. Below me it looked grim something out of the hobbit. I think it was beezlebub or belphegor. I had been doing psalm ritual and seeing breakthroughs so I think it triggered the demons associated with 72 angels. It was my first time really identifying what this was. I immediately prayed and rebuked said Jesus prayer. I’ve been studying occult and spiritual realm. Warfare is definitely real.
Many "demons" have compelling names, which most of your exhibits hold. (I appreciate your presentation.)
Most depictions of Demons are imaginary, products of the mind. The characteristics from anals of history are often food for what a demon might appear. In many cultures, Demons are shape shifters that can take the form of any animal or human, or a composite. And since Demons are essentially dreamworld supernatural entities → there is no way to dispute any claim. It becomes a matter of artistic license.
