(COMMENT)It is a fairly simple and malleable directional calling to work with.
I enjoyed the Dragon Invocation from the Draconian Ritual Book. My major issue with Asenath Mason's work though is that her sigils and art are, IMHO, horrible. I have always utilized other sigils when doing any work by Mason or the Temple of Ascending Flame. The only exception is the Sigil for the Ascending Flame itself.
I know a lot of people who love it. I know others who prefer Mark Alan Smith's work. I find both to be flashbacks to 80's Death Metal album covers, which I was not impressed by. In any case, it was just my opinion. If people like it, good. In most cases, I almost always make my own sigils to personalize.I don't think that the Art depicted in Asenath Mason's work is particularly bad, I do not think they project or deflect any calling or magic. And they do not seem to reach out to any particular entity. What I think I see is a set of established demonic-like components assembled without any deliberate communication.
Honestly when it comes to the Draconian Current, I prefer Michael Kelly's work though have taken some concepts from Mason for basic outlines for structure.I did not find the Draconian Ritual Book insightful.
Just one man's opinion.
My problem is the blood offering thing. I'm never sure where or how to get the blood, or how often I should use the ritual.Hi,
Does any of you have some experience with the Draocnian opening ritual described in the Draconian Ritual Book by Asenath Mason?
I have some interest in practicing it and I wonder if others have experience to share. Thanks!
For me it is simple: as of now it simply feels completely out of tune, so I simply don't use blood. And I guess I won't unless this changes profundly. My problem is the blood offering thing. I'm never sure where or how to get the blood, or how often I should use the ritual.
I'd be happy to get some advice.
