I feel like these 2 are connected & are almost one in the same.

Dreams and alternate lives aren’t the same thing, and they aren’t automatically connected.

A lot of dreams come straight from your own subconscious. The difficult part is that many people can’t tell the difference between a subconscious dream and an experience that they’re actually on astral.

When it comes to alternate lives, they’re very different things. You can be shown something from one of your past lives (which is a different life). Or you’re in a 3rd person mode seeing the life of someone who looks exactly like you. But in that second case, it isn’t “you” in another universe, it’s a completely separate entity that just happens to resemble your look.

In the past life scenario dream, people are sometimes shown fragments of that past life and don’t know what to make of them. They don’t know what it means, or if it’s their past life, or if it has anything to do with them. They may simply “remember” scenes without understanding what they are or whether they relate to them at all. Even though it is connected to them, a lot of people can’t draw that connection.

In the look alike entity scenario dream, it’s easy to assume you’re seeing an alternate version of yourself, but you’re not. The hardest part here is gaining full control of your body and your mind in the lucid state so you can actually interact with that entity and learn about their life. They’re separate from you and not connected to you at all in any way, aside from the uncanny appearance.

Share a bit more of your thoughts/feelings on this.

Dreams do not equal dreams, of course. It is a wide range of things that happen when your body is sleeping and the frontal lobe judgement systems are offline.
Not many people have a life that continues or that kicks in when they go to sleep. So, they don't have a job or family that exists somewhere else that they go to, and that when that person is sleeping they are awake on the other side.

Isn't that a movie?

There are a lot of categories, and they can all overlap or mingle together like ingredients.
Common Dream Categories
  • Lucid Dreams: The dreamer becomes aware they are dreaming and may control the narrative.
  • Nightmares: Distressing, frightening dreams often caused by stress, trauma, or anxiety.
  • Recurring Dreams: Identical or similar dreams that repeat, often indicating unresolved, daily-life issues.
  • Healing/Message Dreams: Vivid, memorable, and sometimes prophetic dreams that provide insights into physical or emotional health.
  • False Awakenings: A dream where you feel you have woken up but are still asleep.
  • Daydreams: Conscious, waking fantasy scenarios.
  • Epic/Profound Dreams: Extremely vivid, intense, and memorable dreams that can feel life-changing.
  • Symbolic/Metaphorical Dreams: Dreams using symbols to represent unconscious thoughts or emotions.
  • Night Terrors: Intense fear episodes that occur during deep sleep, often without a story, and are difficult to remember.
  • Creative/Problem-Solving Dreams: Dreams that offer solutions or artistic inspiration, often providing a "eureka" moment
In my world, there are also dreams that come true, so prophetic dreams. There are shared dreams where I participate in someone else's dream. There are dreams in the Astral. There are dreams in different dimensions. There are dreams that overlap with reality, happening simultaneously, and likely close to daydreams but with worthwhile Psi content that supplies actual facts.
There are telepathic dreams, etc.

Living another complete life is not one of my dreams, yet here I am a dreamwalker, taking part in other people's dreams and coming back to wake them up and share with them, and it then actually happened and they remember me there.

Other dimensional things are so far from human/Earth existence, that I can't see living any parallel life with anything, or any part of myself. But I could be wrong with that. I suppose if someone has no energetic clarity, they would be processing these worlds through the mental human filter and plastering masks of known things over what actually exists.

But we only have one spotlight of attention and memory engaged at a time. I don't know if anyone is capable of dual awareness and functioning here and now.

I would like to think I would know if there was some parallel or alternative life that was real, and continues with the same players or environment, on any level. But tragically, I haven't encountered this.
