Hey everyone,
Curious as to what's out there in regards to dream-based magic, any good book suggestions or resources would be greatly appreciated.
Do you work dream-based magic, divination, etc. or have any personal insight on how to utilize dreaming effectively for esoteric purposes?
Other than keeping a dream log next to where you sleep, what are some effective methods to help with remembering dreams after waking? I've managed to get a couple detailed logs in but the past four mornings in a row I've hardly managed to jot down a couple of vague things I can barely remember the context of.
Furthermore - Any tips or tricks on inducing lucid dreams?
Reason for asking: I'm currently taking my first steps in becoming a magician and working various meditation and mental exercises trying to get the fundamentals down. I am short on time with a job and family at home, but considering we all spend almost half of our lives dreaming, I figured I should try and take advantage of that time and the dream state in any way possible. For context - I have very odd and sometimes pretty intense dreams. On lesser occasions, nightmares, but they do happen. They're very abstract and "unrealistic" for lack of a better term and/or they don't seem to have any relation to anything occurring in my day-to-day life. I have had a couple of dreams where I've realized I'm dreaming and take control of what's happening, but I can't figure out how to consistently do it.
Any thoughts/wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!
