Felt weird beam of energy when trying to invoke King Paimon, what could that be?

So, as the title says, a month or two back when I was still into the goetia, I tried to invoke King Paimon, I believe I asked him for help with energy work/psychic abilities? and as I went to meditate to try and invoke him I felt a weird "presence", as if it was energy of some kind, shoot into my chest for a good minute from above. Of course nothing really happened after this and I didnt see any change in anything, and I didnt even succeed with any further summoning or invocation, but I'm curious, what do you guys think that could have been?

Have you ever managed to summon any of the demons described in the Goetia?

No, I never managed to summon or communicate with anything supernatural
I'm a beginner and don't know much about all this, but when I read the Ars Goetia from the Lesser Key of Solomon (Lemegeton), it said that King Paimon is best summoned only on important occasions, otherwise he might become angry or not appear at all. His servants, whose seals are given in the same book, should be summoned. I suspect that the flow and release of energy you felt was precisely due to this.
