Greetings and introduction

Hi there! Happy to find this site. I joined because of all the great ebook sharing, but happy to connect with community too.

I'm Neela, I'm 31 and live in Vermont

I've been practicing for more than half my life, but my practice has always been eclectic and evolving. My main focus at the moment is Vajrayana Buddhism, but I'm also into Hindu nonduality schools, ADF druidry, general nature veneration, energy work, Neoplatonism and western esotericism, and Christian esotericism. I also spent 5 years working within a Bacchic-Orphic cult of Dionysus, but I don't engage with very much hellenistic practice outside of that. Right now, I'm very curious about subtle forms of communication with the body and anatomy and the embodiment of spiritual energies.

Would love to meet some new people who share some of theses interests, or would like to share what's interesting to them lately. I generally learn a lot from spiritual community, which I'm very grateful for

I’m new here too and your intro was very relatable! I am also very interested in the relation of the body and anatomy to spiritual practices. Within this topic, some interests I’m exploring include energetic healing, the mechanisms of rituals, spiritual parasitism, and the affect of magical and spiritual work on the body. Looking at different religions and schools of thought can certainly provide insight into the underlying mechanisms of things. I would be curious to hear about your time working with a modern Bacchic cult… especially as someone who grew up in a wine region haha

Hi there and welcome! I'm also new to here, and one of those Buddhist+ evolving folks. Personally I prefer Soto Zen, which has an undercurrent of shamanism and animism in its bones.
