Hello all. Been looking over the dialogues happening in this forum and really like the depths of discourse and civility. I primarily practice Thursatru, but enjoy seeing what variations of Left Hand Path practice, Chaos Magic, and Folk Magic people are into. Been exploring Eugene Thacker's horror of philosophy work in relation to void mysticism and poking around in that wasp nest as well.

The folk magic interest is very new, and I'm more than a bit disappointed in myself for sleeping on it for so long. It gets stuff done.

It definitely does. In truth I haven’t come across a form of folk magic that isn’t functional. Cornish, Irish, Appalachian, Welsh, Scottish, Mexican, Mexican American, Italian, French, Basque, Balkan, Hawaiian, Peruvian, Brazilian, Russian, Slavic, Swedish, German, Panamanian, etc… so far all of them have been functional when tested.
