I'm not quite sure what to do with this post. You're making a concrete suggestion for implementing your Group Buy system, not a request for a specific book. Personally I think you should have appended your post to your Group Buy thread as an example but doubt that you'll find any takers - I love David Thompson's humour but not to the extent that I'd spend any money on his suspiciously numerous books (looks like he's churning out one potboiler after the other) just to have the 'complete set'.

I don't remember giving you permission to run a group buy? In fact, I remember explicitly telling you that if it were to happen, a librarian would run it.
