Recently I needed to replace my cell phone, and in the process looked around the android app store pretty rigorously for some handy stuff.
That said I came across an app called "Daff Moon"! Despite the "wonky" name it's got a lot of Solar, Lunar, and Planetary stuff you can display
in current real time. I don't do the volume of planetary work that I used to do, so it's rare that I have to consult an ephemeris the size of the
New York City phone book. I use this app fairly frequently because it's just "so damn handy"!
As I mentioned this is an Android version, there may be a version for Apple too, IDK though. I like it a Lot, check it out!

I use "MOON - Current Moon Phase", tiny, no ads, no collecting of data and has a widget that is handy to me. It only has current moon phase and I honestly need nothing more.

Often the "simpler the better" when you find something that's just right or just "fits" let's you know the synchronicity has kicked in! 🤘

You're very correct with that. Though with Apps on Google Play you have to count with topping of apps that want to earn money, so I usually scroll at least 3 pages down and then I look for apps there and explore them. Like last time when I combined my phone with BT keyboard, which was pain in the ass, but there was ideal app there, But I had to to dig deep deep down to find that golden vein.

Yep, this one isn't too bad AD wise though. I agree that it might take some doing to uncover the "right thing", sometimes not so much!
Like most Google Play Store apps there's a "Pay for Me" version, but it doesn't nag you to death, so the "pros" outweigh the "cons" for me!

And... the BT keyboard Sucks mightily! :ROFLMAO:

Ugh, yeah. Pay for Me versions are so annoying! Now to think about it, I was once using a "Sky Map" app right from Google, (no ads, no tracks) when I was working wit star constellation so I could see exactly where it is on the sky. One I could actually recommend, when it comes to star mysteries.

And yeah, BT keyboards suck, that's why I got new one from second-hand store pretty cheap. But once I uncovered all it's mysteries and bent it to my will, it became loyal and useful servant. Writing my texts on go became much more enjoyable.

Addendum:
Wanted to make sure I knew what I was talking about before giving this update on this app, so I pretty much tested everything I might realistically need! It has real time graphical displays for Solar, Lunar, and all the primary planets, plus all the Astronomical and Astrological data necessary for even complex planetary operations! Damn, I really like this! Check it out if you need through data in real time. Wonky name though.
