To introduce myself, online on a forum for the first time in well over a decade, due to previous bad experiences which I sincerely hope would not be repeated here, as this looks like a quite reputable site with many like-,mindeds:

I have been a magickal practitioner since the age of 14 - and my birth date will show that that is a VERY long time! Most of my life. By the turn of the millennium I finally settled on identifying as Druidic, though I have to add a Gnostic leaning to that, as early Xtian history fascinates me - and studying the Mithraic mysteries and related solar deities from many cultural origins. I'm specially interested in the traditions of Northern Europe, obviously lol, and I'm becoming more and more fascinated by Asatru and Scandinavian traditions. These are things that are all tied to my own genetic background, so having an Ancestry.com account has been very informative and interesting! My biggest surprise was a trace of Spanish - NO idea WHERE that came from, but we know next to nothing about my dad's side of the family because he was orphaned at a very early age, at not much more than a year old. He lost most of the info he had in a flood that happened when he was 15. By the time my mom, my sis and I did Ancestry, my dad was already gone, and we have no brother so we lost a lot about my dad, very disappointing. Anyway, I have a lot of questions about my background that I'm actively researching the answers to. I also was raised Episcopalian in the official sense, not super religious, and had a Catholic all-girls' school foisted on me in jr high. The second I got into the public high school, the very first thing I took out of the school library was the Sarah Lyddon Morrison book, "A Modern Witch's Spellbook", which is actually very Voodoo-oriented with a focus on "magickal" Catholicism. Having just come from there, I identified. (Being seen with this book in the halls sealed my fate of being bullied for it for the rest of high school, but I digress.) Anyway, my "magickal" career has been long and varied. I'm also a Tarotist from the age of 12 (even longer!), and I have 4 YouTube channels and an Etsy shop that I'm readying for official debut. I'm looking into doing quite a bit of publishing through Amazon as well, as a lifetime Golden Age of British horror aficionado and folklorist. So very long intro I know, but I like to be thorough and this is it for now, folks! See you in the discussions!

Oh! How could I forget?! I'm an artist with a BFA, singer-songwriter, musician, and dancer, as well as writer. I'm designing several VERY different (from each other as well as literally) Tarot decks, and my work will be online where I've indicated. I'm also aiming to submit to a prominent Philly gallery by no later than this summer. OK that's everything! 🤣
