Hey everyone, sorry I'm just getting around to making an introduction. My name is Shawn and I have been into the occult now for about 5 years. I guess you can say I'm still a baby in this process. If I had to narrow things down I'd say I'm more into Western Ceremonial Magick. I 'am what one would probably call a solitary practitioner. I'm looking to become a long distance member of , "Ordo Templi Astarte." Also known as the O.T.A. which is located on the west coast and ran by Poke Runyon who is a very respectable Western Ceremonial Magician. I'm a member here to simply soak up all the wonderful information around me, and hopefully I can learn to contribute one day.
A question for the folks out there with some experience in Magick and Sorcery. Can you recommend a few books for a very hungry, very new, Ceremonial/Solomonic Magickal student.
Lately I have been focusing a lot on meditation and quieting my mind. But I'd love to learn more about Banishing Rituals, Evocation, and whatever other Solomonic topics I can get my hands on.
