Hi my name is Danielle I'm 24, and I'm an eclectic practitioner that is studying anthropology in hopes of working in academia in regards to the esoteric. I don't know many people in my personal life who actively practice or are open to discussing different practices, so I'm hoping to learn a lot here and maybe make some friends.

Welcome Danielle.

Same here - I don't know anyone in my personal life who practices magic, and it's a difficult subject to raise in an authentic way. I'm studying for a master's degree in leadership/management at work, and I'm basing my current project and paper on how Chaos Magic symbolism can be reframed as a leadership tool.

Just as there's no one leadership technique, Chaos Magic takes whatever works. I have started to think about how egregores are similar to our corporate goals and organisational values, servitors can be personal objectives, Tarot is a tool for personal and professional reflection, and so on. I'm doing this because of my fascination with magic, because of a personal promise to be bold - and mostly in order to discuss these ideas (albeit in a professional framework) with my colleagues.

Good luck with your studies :)
